Good to have an answer about stats. Time to carry over my franchise. I can suspend disbelief for games in general, so I can do it in the show.

Unfortunately, the "zero stats issue" is not something we can fix. As some of you might know, we tracked a very small number of career stats before The Show 16, and those are the ones that are displayed perfectly fine in your save files. The columns with zeroes, like Games Played and Walks, are new career stats that we added in 16, so we can't just make them appear out of thin air for carryover saves. You might notice some stats such as On Base Percentage being displayed, but incorrectly. That's because these are calculated stats, and we have some of the data necessary to calculate it, but not all (which is why OBP looks just like BA, because we don't have BB, HBP and SF to calculate it fully). The good news is that all of the newly added stats will track perfectly fine as soon as you start playing/simulating games.

We apologize for this, but it's just an unfortunate limitation of our old system

Hey Victor I was wondering if you could answer a quick question. I know you guys are busy fixing bugs and stuff. In rtts the leaderboard page lists a ton of career stats. I was wondering if those are just cumulative stats or if you guys actually have the year by year numbers to those stats.

Hopefully they can still patch the current year you are in. So the player card matches the stats on the statistics page. Cause the statistics page has all the stats for that current year.

Any one have any skin tone issues? Jarod Cosart, on my Athletics team, went from white in 15, to looking like he's live on South Beach for 60 years. He's got that gross Mr. Olympia spray on tan.

Carried over my franchise last night. The issues aren't as bad, at least in my humble opinion, as they were being made out to be.

Picked up my franchise in the middle of Spring Training and am moving forward on my quest to win the 2017 Pennant.

Is that just for franchise because my RttS player's stats all carried over with no issues. I have the correct stats dating back to '14

So I transferred my Cubs franchise from 15 over. I was in the playoffs at the time of the transfer and simulated to the offseason since I missed them. I've noticed that a LOT of the players from the last draft are missing. I only have 1 of mine and out of the top 10 picks, only 2 are on the rosters.

I've checked the list of Free Agents and the signings page for each team and they are nowhere to be found.

I really hope they show back up and aren't gone for good, or that would be very disappointing.

How many seasons have you played? I played 2 in 14 and 1 in 15 and have played every pitch of every game (spring training included). Every year I get tempted to start all over, but just cant LOL.

tried carrying over my franchise in 2015 playoffs and going through offseason in 16 all 3 times it crashed the game while I was managing the roster adding/removing players to 40 man roster... Went back to 15 and went thru offseason in it and then transferred to 16 again before spring training so far no more crashes but now the morale is screwed up.. every starter expecting to be an ace, every reliever expects to be a closer and every pos player expects to be a star oh well not a big deal tho. Hoping that can be cleared up in the next patch..

It only applies to other players not your guy. They are taking your locker room stats and placing them in the player card.

I didn't carry over '14 because I accidentally deleted my save.

I played 2 seasons last year, just like you every pitch of every game including Spring Training.

I thought I could start over, but I just couldn't. I worked hard to put together the team I have now.

Going to "rent" MLB 15 tonight, start up a 30 team control (BTW where is that 30 team control set up thread at?) download Bacon's rosters, transfer over to MLB 16 and get going. The small issues like certain stats not showing isn't a huge deal for me and as far as I can tell, that's the only issue.

I've noticed another issue with carry over saves. Happened last year as well. The public address announcer has the wrong year. I'm in the 2017 season and he thinks it's 2019!

Not a big deal, I find it kind of funny.

I didn't even know about them until I came in this thread.

I saw the stats and figured it was new stats. New fields in databases and all that.

The morale was more worrisome because that impacts signing/extending guys and some of these guys are...not Aces - but I was going to roll with it and see - now I know it will fix itself.

I couldn't start over anyway, well I mean I could and probably will make a new franchise (or three), but being in 2021 (carryover from MLB14->MLB15->MLB16 - and yes, I play every ML game no QCs or FFs) and watching fictionals starting to come into their own across the league as well as young "real" phenoms reaching their peaks - I can't leave it behind.
