Already started mine. I exported players from 15 and made the padres 90 man roster up to date. Don't really care too much for the other teams. But I'm sure I'll start over when OSFM comes out.
When you get MLB The Show 16, how soon will you start your franchise? Is there a number a "test" games you want to play first or do you just dive in?
Also, which roster updates do you trust? Will you wait for at least one roster update before you begin?
Thanks!
Waiting for at least the first version of OSFM, but I might be able to hold out until the second release/pitch edits/equipment version, whenever that may be. I know if I start before that, I'll just end up restarting when they come out.
On further thought, I'll wait for the first OSFM to drop, then buy the game, and start my franchise immediately. In the past I've waited until June for the roster makers to completely make their mark on this game, and I might get 50-80 games in before I'm gassed out and ready for football.
I think im going to fire up MLB 15, load up the most recent OSFM available and start a franchise, save it and transfer it to MLB 16. I will probably sim the 2016 season and start playing in 2017.
That or maybe do the same thing and start a RTTS with a current Blue Jays minor leaguer. Not sure yet. Decisions decisions.
Oh man did it take that long last year? I don't remember waiting that long.. Either way, what's the drawback of downloading the latest osfm update on 15 and starting a new franchise to carry over into 16? Other than the morale and role bug that people are finding

Nothing really, other than not having updated face scans or updated rosters.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
Yeah I don't wait. I jump into my franchise right away with default rosters and create the Top 100 prospects during Spring Training. As the year goes on I may add more, but Top 100 is what I start with.
