Well if there are so many issues then don't play the game. Save everyone who is trying to enjoy the game from having to see The Show forum become a cesspool of negativity which it always is this time of year no matter what. The sense of entitlement people have towards this game is just astounding.

Why don't you just leave the thread to the people who are reporting problems? Nobody's forcing you to read it. If you're not having issues then I'm genuinely delighted for you, enjoy the game, as I'm sure it's great without framerate issues.

Unfortunately I'm experiencing these issues and would like nothing better than to be able to enjoy the game, admire it's beauty and laud praise upon the devs. But I can't do any of that as the issues I've described are destroying my enjoyment .

We're all playing the same game, however I highly doubt (to state the obvious) that we're all playing on the same TV with the same settings. So that has to be the issue, right? How can some people see all of this and not others? I can't think of anything else other than the type of TV you're using and the settings.

If you fall under the category of not having this issue, I envy you lol go enjoy this awesome game and don't even waste your time in this thread because what's the point? You're not affected by this issue but clearly some people, including myself, are. I've bought every version of the show since the PS2 days. I'm not much of a game anymore really. I buy Madden and NBA 2K on a yearly basis as well, although I get bored quickly and never play them that often. The show, however, keeps my interest pretty much year-round. I was playing '15 until Monday night, the day before '16 came out. I love baseball and this game is fun and addicting.

That doesn't mean there aren't issues. To me and some others, a big issue is the glaring stutterness that occurs, while not all the time, when you're physically playing the game. At times its a lot uglier than others, and I believe that also relates to what park you're playing in, the time of day, weather etc.

If you don't see any of these issues, enjoy the game! I wish I could be in your shoes but to this point (yes the game's only been out for a day) I've been annoyed. Hopefully for those that are seeing this issue we can come up with a work-around, such as certain cameras to use etc.

Hey this is crazy talk...smh


we've already "figured out" whats causing it.

Its simple SCEA graphics guys didnt QA different camera angles etc.

I have the right to complain as does he.

Is the show perfect?

yeah kinda BUT not THAT perfect

I'm in franchise mode with the Red Sox and I notice the framerate issues happen during batter walk-ups and during batting when the cpu pitchers throws the ball. The stutter happens while the ball is in mid air so it throws off the timing of my swing. It doesn't happen every time obviously but it happens at least once per game.

I also use a 24" monitor to play.

You're wasting your time. Stating you are not seeing the issue is not welcomed in this thread. You either see it or your lying according to a few people in this thread.

Just enjoy the game and let the few who are seeing the issue continue to discuss and dissect.

Whats crazy is I just stumbled upon this thread and did not realize this happened to other people. For about 3 years now (since 14theshow) I thought it was my tv that caused this "choppiness" when I made contact with the ball, etc. Glad to know now that I'm not the only one. What makes no sense to me is how nba2k16, madden etc. can run so flawlessly and this gorgeous game can't. My 09 the show on ps3 ran better too. What is also crazy is that I was going to purchase a new tv soon because of this issue, but now I might not since it apparently is not related to the tv. So what camera angles would you guys recommend for optimal performance?

Come on dude, really? So you're saying that the developers didn't test their game? It's automatically their fault? It couldn't possibly be on your end? There's plenty of people that aren't having any problems. We're not all blind or oblivious. I think it's a lazy argument to blame the devs for something that may not even be their fault.

Nobody is blaming anybody. Did you play BloodBorne? That game to me played perfect and I never noticed frame pacing issues that Digital Foundry claims was the biggest issue and never fixed. I never once noticed it in that game?

Just because many are not sensitive to it does not mean is not there. We all have the same game and same code in game so it will play the same for everyone. This is not a pc game

The issue is there for me but not to the point where I do not love and enjoy the game but others are more sensitive to it which is normal as we are all not the same.

To say there is no issue is not right. To say I dont notice it and am immune to it is something different.

Yes but not everyone has the same tv. This was said earlier and it could be the problem.

This has turned into people trying to prove they are more technologically savvy then the next person and no longer about the Show so I'm ending it.
