Player progression is dynamic. Players are not on a linear path. Just like real life players can tank or have prolonged "peaks." Here are a sample of players from two test sims at the end 2023. I really like this.

I'm noticing alot of good players that are arbitration eligible are non tendered and become free agents. Not sure why. Here is an example Pierce. Didi and Carter.uploadfromtaptalk1459621686271.jpguploadfromtaptalk1459621693809.jpg

Another Sim you can see a few short stops and Desmond. Although not superstars, they are controlable starters.

By the way,

I noticed that stolen bases are, in fact, included in stat tracking. However, they come after RBIs and not with the CS and SB% statistics, but they're there.

Also just noticed that career totals (the ones you look at on the player card) are messed up for players who have major league experience but are in the minors. Their totals don't add up correctly.

This is happening with the latest roster update; not with default rosters.

I don't usually argue too much with retirement logic, but I'll be saving and restarting if I have a high rated player on last year of deal, in their mid 30s.

Good catch on the retirement...I will do the same.

Looks like 30-team control is a must yet again. I'll probably get involved in the FA process.

How has everyone's experience been with Scouting? I just ran a test franchise where, after being told to scout a region for a certain type of player, they will scout an individual instead. They will not complete said scouting report and there were alot of 50% accuracy ratings. Also, there aren't any more "Your scout has completed his assignment" message.

Harpers attributes at that age are interesting. If anything I would think his power ratings at age 34 would be higher than his contact ratings. I still think that the progression needs to be tweaked. Either that or implement a system like 2K where the prime years of a players career can be adjusted to further stave off regression.

Found a new bug: In a carryover franchise, everyone in the draft pool is from Alaska now. New franchises don't have this problem.

Anybody see this? Wonder if dh was a position and pulled last minute?

Also I agree with others, tough to see mimor league stats since it's not on player card anymore. [emoji17]

Hmmmm...nice find on the DH.....

.....and I probably shouldn't be putting this in a post since it's a HUGE MAYBE....but I asked Luis about stats on the player card(big missing when trying to sub/pinch hit IN game....that's where I miss it most) and he said he could see what he could do about getting back on the player card.
