    Re: Too Many Outfield Errors

I haven't had many errors but I have noticed that there is a lot of low, shoestring animations/catches in the outfield this year. I can't remember seeing it this much in any prior years.

I have auto fielding on and I'm somewhat concerned with the amount of errors my team has had on default sliders but I'm curious if the pitching/hitting difficulty has any say in this.

Could be, what level are you on? I'm on All-Star for both.

Just about every game I play now somebody in the outfield drops a ball, goes for it and goes over his head for a ground rule double. Total BS

This may be apples and oranges but in manage mode what I'm seeing is outfielders with low fielding attributes taking poor routes to the ball - which is realistic - and being charged with an error when the ball goes over their head. IRL an outfielder normally has to touch a fly ball for it to be an error. I've only seen one dropped ball and it was during a rainy game.

For me I like the change and the problem is with scoring it as an error, not the result of the play.
