    Do you trust your catcher?

    Do you trust your catcher?

On every pitch, the catcher give a pitch and a location. He obviously adjust to whatever you're going to throw but do you trust him?

Has anyone actually tried to throw the game the catcher calls?

My catcher is Yadier Molina, so....yes. My pitchers throw where he tells them, unless the guy with the controller screws up.

I do about 95% of the time. I find that if I just go slow, fast, slow, fast, and so on, the CPU never adjusts. This way I feel like I'm not cheesing the CPU.

Same here, I always listen to Yadi!

In fact, I only call my own pitches online, in DD, or locally against another human player.

I don't know if I trust him or not because I never check, I call my own game!

I almost exclusively pitch whatever the catcher calls, i've only played a couple quick games so far(mainly been playing battle royale), but one game i went 8 inning with Felix, only 2 hits allowed, no runs. Then another game , i went 7 innings with Carrasco, 12 strikeouts. Both on HOF.

So trusting the catcher usually works for me.

I can't call my own game, I always overthink it. McCann's the man for this Yankee fan. And I'll second what Knight said, speaking as a former assistant coach of a middle school baseball team (which is very prestigious, I know). The catcher always knows what he's doing. That's why they let him play there.

I do 90% of the time. Hell most of the time after throwing a pitch, I think to myself "Oh i should throw [insert pitch here] to [insert location here]". And then the catcher calls the exact pitch and location I was thinking lol.

I usually always call my own game, but it may be fun to try following what my C says for a game and see how it plays out

It depends on the moment. Sometimes i feel very confident, especially when i'm doing well on the mound, so i try to develop my own pitching strategy. But when things going wrong, i trust in my catcher and i follow him trought the flames. Better to fall together than alone.

Assuming there is no difference between the catcher's ability in calling a game, but would be just another way to take The Show to the next level.

But yes, I always trust Yadi.

I've always wondered if someone like Yadi, and Posey would have smarter AI calling than a lower rated Catcher
