Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
I've never played RTTS so I'm not sure if they rotate in that mode, but I played 3 seasons in franchise this year and the interleague schedule never rotated. And I don't recall ever a year in which interleague schedules did rotate.
It has been at the top of my wishlist each year.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm not sure how user error would come into play in the scheduling.

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
That's probably what happened now that you mention it! But it felt real, especially since I had just played the Indians in the World Series... Playing them in the opening weekend gave it a level of immersion I had never seen before. Even if it was a coincidence haha.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
It was in my franchise mode, but now that I think of it... It was a carry-over from 15... So maybe I finished my season (in which I was playing the Marlins 15 schedule) and then when the new season was generated I played the AL Central like the Marlins did this past season.

You can play every team in RTTS however because in most team's schedules, there is One team out of the interleague schedule division you play. For example, the Mets played the AL Central in 2016, as well as the Yankees (AL East). However, in the 2017 season, the Mets still play the AL Central, but not the Yankees but a different AL East team. After a couple of years, switching teams, you end up playing every team.
Rotating Inter League Schedules would mean the Inter League divisions rotate. In 2017 in real life, the Mets will play the AL West, then 2018 they will play the AL East, then Central again and so on.
This is not in place in MLB The Show 16Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
Which conveniently ties back into this thread... MAKE THE BIG MOMENTS FEEL BIG! And have a little variation. Just because I won the WS once, it shouldn't mean that every other time I win it it's the exact same animations!Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
I have similar wishes to everyone else in terms of international draft, revamped offseason etc.
I also love TheWarmWind's idea:
"Going to add another wish: Editable progression/regression curves. Would be even better if it could be done by attribute."
I've been doing a lot of editing of prospects and it would be so nice to be able to have a progression curve for contact/pwr compared to fielding. Right now all the 18/19 infielders are 40-50 in terms of reaction and fielding, but some of them are destined to be 60s (scouting grade) with the glove while others could only be average. Right now its up to me to remember who is who or have to go back and look at more scouting reports, but if you could have him at 40 now with possibility of getting to 90 or only to 60 that would be amazing. Besides that a little place you could write or dictate notes about a player would also be super cool. Kind of like a little post it note on side of screen you can keep track of stuff or just another tab alongside contract/morale/attributes/notes.
The other thing I would love to see changed is in regards to calculating pitcher velocities.
As I have been editing lots of prospects its hard to sometimes get their velocities right, first you have to increase FB velo then get their curve and changeup right then you can increase FB to correct number. Sometimes it doesnt work out right either if their FB is pretty hard at 95 or higher then its really hard to keep their changeup down at 81. I just want to be able to set the exact number (with variation in game of course) of the MPH of the pitch in their editing screen to make it easier than having to move all these sliders about. It could even be 93.1,93.2,93.3 if we want to get as detailed as it currently is. But fiddling with the sliders seems like a waste because some pitchers are good because they can create that huge disparity in pitch speed.
This feels like a long post so I'll just toss in one more wish.
Player specific scouting reports for the majors (and would love to see ability to scout minor league players as well that would result in knowing their attribute specific progression curves but that's too good to be true). This would probably be a pretty big change because it would change hitting, but I would love for you to scout what pitches a hitter struggles against (bats .150 versus sliders for example) and then have that fact actually have an impact in game. Mike Zunino for example couldnt hit sliders for crap when he first came up and pitchers just fed him that pitch. The problem is probably humans getting annoyed their hitters cant hit a slider well even if they can just fine when controlling him, but hopefully you could just have that turned off if some humans don't want that and leave it on as human vs CPU.
sorry if these have been hashed out previously in the thread just wanted to get them off my chestComment
