I wish they would be patch in New jerseys as teams use them throughout the season (mother's day, father's day, memorial day, 4th of July, etc) so we could use them in franchise.

see that would be awesome, just like how NBA2k does it. however, i wonder what 2k Uses in terms of getting their uniforms in game like they do. do they also use a style guide? maybe the NBA teams there update it constantly so therefore 2k can keep the latest in terms of uniforms in game.

i dont know the process for either but i just think the show is just hindered big time by this "Style Guide" they have to follow.

I'm sure it will have been mentioned before, but they seriously need to tone down the computer controlled defence so they aren't pulling off 5 immaculate gold glove diving plays a game, regardless of the player they use. They need to hugely tone down the range and reactions of all the fielders, as well as change how likely they are to even attempt ridiculous diving stops/double plays.

It's fine against humans as the reactions aren't so crazy and humans don't time dives perfectly every single time, but against the computer it sometimes feels like you can only get hits on line drives or ground balls right up the middle. Contact hitters hugely suffer for it

I think this would be so amazing for Season and Franchise modes. And it has been done before in other sports games.

It is a cool thing to add, but for me I would maybe watch it once or twice and then it would just be like a lot of other things and just skipped.

Not the same, but even the city shots during the game annoy me now, i do like play quick most times so not being able to skip it bugs me even if its not that long.

Even though I am presentation nerd and love that stuff the user should always be able to skip anything they want with a quick press of the X button.

#1 - Offline Battle Royale type draft modes to local play vs friends or CPU

#2 - Sort by specific ratings in draft mode - i.e. Sort available players by "contact vs LHP"

#3 - A spreadsheet view of player ratings in draft mode so you don't need to click on each player and go through menus to get to the ratings

See "just like how NBA2K does it" for a lot, starting with the incredibly detailed player models and best-in-class franchise and offseason functionality. Having to resign all your players and decipher the renew contract option is a killer.

During a game, every and I mean every single replay is in Slow Motion!

Obviously Slow Motion has its perks but every single replay?

Home Runs should be both slow and normal, when the ball is hit into the gaps, I dont want to see the fielders running to it in Slow Motion.

Pitching mechanics, slow
A defensive gem, both

Also, when the ball is hit and in play, why remove the scorebug? Real Life TV Broadcasts have the scorebug shown throughout the play. If it blocks the play and ball, shift the camera. The scorebug should not be removed when the ball is put into play.

Not a feature wish but I really wish they would change the way at bats are presented. Way too many camera cuts and never seeing the ball thrown back to the pitcher by the catcher is just beyond jarring.

My #1 request, aside from a build-a-stadium feature, is an extremely simple request that would have saved me hours and hours in the past:



what is it? a "restart draft" option in fantasy drafts



why is this necessary?


When I start a franchise, I want my favorite player on my team (Nolan Arenado). Let's say in fantasy draft, Arenado goes #3 overall.


In order to get him on my team, I need to re-start the draft over and over until I land a top 3 pick.

what does 're-starting the draft' entail?

1. Press square to auto-complete draft

2. wait while game auto-saves new season

3. exit back to main menu

4. start new franchise

5. select team and user profile

6. adjust all settings

7. start draft



I have literally spent over a hundred hours of my life in this loop, trying again and again until I get a top draft pick.

sure, I could suck it up and not get my preferred player. But the point is to have fun and draft have a team you love. So I want my favorite player.

Let's say you need a top 3 pick to land your favorite player. There is a 3/30 (10%) chance of getting him in each draft. Often, I'll need to exit out, and restart the franchise several dozen times before I get the preferred pick. It's insanity. I suppose I could move that player to my team after the draft, but that feels impure somehow.

All of this hassle would go away with a simple "Restart draft" option.

They've needed this for many, many years. They say it's all about the little things. This is the littlest thing. For the love of God, give us a restart draft option, or the option to select out draft pick.

Please. For the love of God.

EDIT: I also fully agree that contact hitters get undervalued due to game physics.

Catchers need to be toned down dramatically on choppers at the plate. They spring up instantly and catch any ball or make any play 99% of the time. The animation is just too quick.

Expansion mode and new commentary would really add to replayability for me. I get bored after about 10 games with The Show the last couple years.

It's gone from my favorite game from say, 08-14 to the least innovative and most boring in the genre.

I don't wanna play in a league where everyone is on the wrong team (or a random online team) - I want teams to have their identities, still. It'd be nice to get in a new stadium and build a team for the ground up.

I mean I'll look at the feature list, and decide, but I expect to not buy this game this year.

EDIT: Retro mode seems pretty darn cool, and original.
