When mlb 17 comes out will you guys make like a check off list of things that made it into the game, that were heavily requested? Or would that become a separate thread later?

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
This may be small but I would love to see more peripheral stats on the walkup beyond just AVG/HR/RBI.
I'd like to see the OBP, OPS, even WAR...Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
Here's what I wrote in another thread :
I am a so called "casual gamer" being a father of 1 and working more than 40 hours/week. Here what needs to be done to get me playing more MLB TS and securing my annual buy of the game :
- more integration between game modes (I don't have time to have a franchise AND a RTTS player AND a DD team). Find a way to make me enjoy it all in one game mode.
- shorten the games, but not with quick counts. I'd like to be able to choose which presentation to disable entirely (foul ball, throwback to pitcher, homerun, etc)
- create a feature that help me sim my season in franchise according to my gaming performance, not only the players on the field. I'd like to be able to play only 30-40 games and have relevant stats at the end of the season. I.E: if I hit .390 with my created player when I play, I don't want him to hit .285 when I sim.
- simplify all the menus.
- render graphics that will make me say wow everytime.
- find a way, somehow, to partner with MLB.tv and notify me in-game of what's happening IRL with my favorite team(s)... I don't have time to watch Baseball AND play video games. It's either one or the other. Having a bit of both world would be incredible.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
During a game, every and I mean every single replay is in Slow Motion!
Obviously Slow Motion has its perks but every single replay?
Home Runs should be both slow and normal, when the ball is hit into the gaps, I dont want to see the fielders running to it in Slow Motion.
Pitching mechanics, slow
A defensive gem, bothComment

LOL You need to multi task like I have learned to do. I play The Show, while streaming a game on my laptop and having one going on my phone in what I call OOTP mode. Where I have the sound turned off and just the box score and stuff up on MLB.com. Never choose to only do one or the other, ever!
Oh an just for my two cents. I want the games longer. Put everything back in that has been taken out. I want every throw back to the Pitcher, every foul ball, every little minutia that is baseball played out on my screen while I am playing a game. Heck even add in fake radio commercials during transitions. Add in Mascots throwing shirts into the stands, sausage races, more fan interaction in the stands and on the field. I would love to have all of that stuff in my games.Last edited by Bullit; 01-03-2017, 07:52 PM.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

I also agree that it would be nice to have everything back in the game as you suggested. I'd enable all that from time to time, when I feel like I have enough time and I'm not in the mood to squeeze 2-3 games in a playing session of 60-90 minute.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
So I just finished watching a mlb the show 09 gameplay video on YouTube and man...they really had authentic batter walkup routines (pedroia's glove strapping and playing with jersey buttons, Ortiz's digging in the dirt and spitting in gloves and clapping, A-Rod's swipe at top of bat etc.) and accurate stances. Would love to see this much detail and improvement (improve stances)back in the game. Baseball players are recognized by their personal quirks and stances.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
What if they give the user the option under visual settings to set which statistics be displayed on walk ups? If you're a casual fan, no problem, set to display statistics such as your aforementioned well-known AVG, RBI, and HR totals. For the analytics fans, allow them to display figures such as WAR, wRC(+), ISO (to just name some of the basic ones) etc.Last edited by I3RIS3H; 01-04-2017, 01:09 AM.NHL: Chicago Blackhawks

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
For the Franchise and RTTS in one thing, sorry don't know how they could add DD to it, maybe a fantasy draft, but what you could do is create a player in your franchise and only play as him with player lock. I did this for a while and I honestly like the organic player growth a lot more than the XP system. Plus I can give the guy proper skills right out of the gate. If I want to create a speedster, or a guy with prodigious power, or a glove wizard with a cannon arm I can. All without having to grind to get them there. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever go back to RTTS.

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
Sorry, I haven't read all of the comments so I'm sorry if this is a repeat.
Some of the "minor" issues that really bother me are the CPU putting players on the 15 day DL when they are out for the season. Currently , the Indians have 6 players out at least 2-3 months (2 for season) who are on the 15 day DL. This affects the roster and others me to no end.
That and the trading IQ is so frustrating. Being in control of all teams is too time consuming. Seeing a team seeking a SS when they have a guy signed for 6 years who is hitting .330 is so frustrating. I'm sure there are a ton more but those little things bug me.

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
Who here would like something like this after every game in season mode?
I think this would be so amazing for Season and Franchise modes. And it has been done before in other sports games.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
Not entirely sure if it's too late in the cycle to post this, or if it's the appropriate thread
I'd like to see equipment updates each week with the online/DD roster updates. Players do make mid-season equipment changes sometimes, and it sucks to see guys like Addison Russell wearing Nike BG's and UA cleats when he has changed all equipment to Nike. Just another "little thing" that will help improve the game.
I also realize that it may be hard for DEV's to track this, amongst other things, so maybe it'd be wise to create a thread once the season starts where we post weekly equipment and style changes for players.University of Southern California '19

Re: MLB 17 Feature Wishes?
Another useful option for Franchise/Season fantasy drafts is the ability to set the draft order. I believe MLB 2k10 had this option where you could manually move the draft order so you could have the first 25 picks (if you pleased).University of Southern California '19
