What I think would be very cool to do is allow us to watch a game from different vantage points in the stands using PSVR.


No gameplay, no movement, simply a spectator mode. Watch a game from behind home, or out in the bleachers, etc.


But that is simply fluff and I am not sure I want them to waste time on fluff.

A bit more presentation to online games. I know people don't want to spend hours in one game but if someone cranks a homerun or makes a diving catch we should get some replays. If players want to skip it they can be given the choice to do so.

Wish in rtts high rated players didn't retire after their contract was up due to poor free agent market.

1) The Free Agent List needs expanded from 80 players to 150.

2) The current 90-man team rosters need expansion to 115.

3) When the window comes up to review Retired Players Screen, there needs to be a box next to each name asking to
"Allow Player to Retire?". And a Check All option for people who dont mind who retires.

I always play out my spring training games. That is probably one of my favorite times of my franchise. I actually make a spreadsheet and pre-assign the lineup for all of spring. Same with the pitchers down to how many innings, etc. it's a great way to get a look/feel fit your young players.

i need to really buckle down and do this too cuz we all know certain players u just flat out rake with, and some u can barely hit .200 with and same with pitchers

If Ramone is checking these, if not too late, I hope SCEA can add info about relief pitchers to dpad screen. When a batter is at the plate, you can hit dpad to see which opposing pitchers are warming in bullpen. It would be great if they could put in parenthesis the type of reliever..e.g, cl, su, mr or lr. As of now, you have to physically go to the bullpen to check.

There is hope. Last year on January 13 they revealed no create-a-stadium or expansion.

Will there by any chance be an expansion mode like in all star baseball?

Not this year

As of today it is January 31 and they haven't yet ruled it out.

I'd like to see SP going through the minors learn a 4th and/or 5th pitch without editing him to do so.

I would like to see an option to manually injure a player with CPU ROSTER CONTROL turned on. That way guys can properly accumulate service time while they are injured. The way it's set up now there is no real way to get correct service time unless you sim season with that particular player active.

EXAMPLE: Rymer Liriano had 0.049 service time going into 2016 season. As of now he has 1.049 service time since he spent the entire 2016 season on the MLB DL for the Brewers. The only way to get that correct in MLB 17 is to carry over a franchise and sim the entire year(with him active) to get the correct service time. this throws stats off in some cases by a wide margin.

I totally forgot to mention this. I'm still playing 15 but what is up with the fatigue in the playoffs. Was this fixed for 16 and will this be an issue in 17.

In the playoffs, it takes forever for the pitchers to gain their energy level back.

The challenge system needs fixing.

I have played about 500 franchise games to start to finish and the opposition have not challenged a call, not even once. Do I have a specific setting turned off? If I do, I can't find it.

I challenge a call, the replay shows that I am clearly out by a good foot. The bench coach gives a thumbs up to challenge the call. He's never not given his go ahead to challenge any call.

Last year they mentioned the fact that they could have either overhauled the challenge system or implemented a ton of new changes and they chose the latter, which was a good choice in my opinion.

Having said that, the system does need a bunch of work, but I think they know that.
