Re: Watching MLB; If "This" Would Have Happened In The Show Thread

Guys, seriously, I have 58 strikeouts and only eight walks through my first five games (which have all been losses!). I've got hitting on dynamic, but I keep chasing pitches that barely even register on the screen.

I have been making every opposing pitcher this year an early Cy Young candidate. I'm only hitting .209 with 3 home runs, so I definitely can't score runs either.

I pitch ok, but every time my starter seems to get a little tired, I do what you're supposed to do in this game and change it up and bring in a reliever. More bad news, a blown lead and other late-inning blowups have not done anything to help the team find the elusive first victory.

Anyone know any quick fixes before the season is a total loss? HELP!!

SDS Estrada's changeup is BS pls nerf. He's only a low 80s pitcher AT BEST. Pitchers do NOT have a 10+ MPH differential on pitches, especially pitchers who average in the high 80s in fastballs.

Please learn the game and fix this broken pitcher. Guys don't come back from injury and pitch 7 scoreless that is not a thing.

I thought I turned off injuries?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I can see the Braves becoming a central focus of this thread as the year goes on, just as GSW was for the NBA one (albeit for ENTIRELY different reasons).

I just had a pitcher crush the ball 440 feet. While I laughed at how awesome it was, it felt cheap and unrealistic. We need to get this taken care of quickly.

Went into franchise mode today, as the Rangers, I don't know if the comeback code was on all game but Jared Weaver who throws and 80mph whiffl...fastball ripped through my lineup? This is why I'm tired of dynamic difficulty, acting like Weaver is still in 2011.

Oh yeah, the only guy who did well against Weaver was NOMAR MAZARA, he was a 58 overall on OSFM rosters last year. 3 hits including a dinger in his first MLB game. Makes no sense guys.

                what is "comeback code"?

is there a thread that discusses this somewhere?

Comeback code is a unicorn, it doesn't exist.

so it's a belief by some that the game "encourages" or "allows" comebacks in the game to promote drama?

NBA thread managed to stay open the whole season. Can we at least last past the first few weeks?

The same comeback code Dodgers and Giants fans experienced this weekend. (However, yesterday's comeback by the Giants was ridiculous.)
