    Runners on the corners

    Please help. Classic base running. Runners on first and third. It tells me to hit square +L2 do just steal second. But when I do that BOTH runners take off instead of just the guy on first. How do I just steal second and leave my guy on third?

    Thank you

    Havent tried stealing yet, but last year it was that you tilted the left stick towards first base and then pressed L2.

      L2 is the command to steal all so I don't know for sure how this works

        If you tilt the left stick as mentioned towards the baserunner you'd only like to steal then press L2 it will only send that player. The instructions should be underneath the runner window as well I think.

          He's using classic baserunning as he mentioned. Stick isn't involved at all.

            To be more clear first you point L stick at the runner you to steal and hold it there until you hit L2. Dont hit L2 then point L stick after releasing nor do you want to point, release, then hit L2. You want to hold L stick and hit L2 while holding L stick. After that you can release both

              That's not working for classic base running. Whenever I do that BOTH runners take off

                Again, classic baserunning.

                Not analog.

                  Hold O, Tap L2 until you feel the vibration. Hold circle and tap L1 prior to the first combo if you want to take a lead before stealing.

                  Tapping L2 with the base runner will have the CPU perform the steal. I believe holding L2 will allow you to do a manual jump on the steal. I use the second option for people who don't have a good steal rating.

                    Must refrain from using a Mark Wahlberg and his Funky Bunch reference.

                      Just tried the first option. Again, both runners take off NOT just the guy on first????

                        I don't know, bro. I use classic base running and that's how I do it. Maybe you're not holding circle when pressing L2.

                          How do you stop the batter from showing bunt when the runner is on 2nd trying to steal 3rd? Because pressing triangle (makes your batter show bunt).

                          Well, just did what eF 5ive suggested.

                          I think what maybe confusing is the word "vibration." Don't worry about the controlling vibrating. Let's just assume your controllers vibration doesn't work at all. Also do not wait until the pitcher's windup. Just queue the steal when the pitcher is standing still and doing absolutely nothing on the mound. Don't worry about the pitcher.

                          Circle = 1st base
                          Triangle = 2nd base
                          Square = 3rd base
                          X = home plate

                          Situation: Runner on 1st and 3rd. If you only want the runner on 1st to steal 2nd while the runner on 3rd stays glued to 3rd base, hold Circle (1st base, runner on 1st), then simply tap L2 once. Do not ever hold L2, just tap L2 once quickly. Do NOT need to tap L2 repeatedly. Just tap L2 once.

                          Do not worry about the "vibration." Ignore the vibration. Because when I think about waiting for the controller to vibrate, I think about holding L2 down, and that causes everyone to run.

                          Because you want to avoid making a mistake,
                          (A) FIRST hold down the button where the base runner is (Circle/Triangle/Square/X button),
                          (B) THEN wait 1 second (while still holding down (circle/triangle/square/ or x button),
                          (C) THEN, press L2 once (do NOT hold/vibration/release L2), just quickly tap L2 one time,
                          (D) Then, release the button corresponding to the base runner (release circle/triangle/square/x)
