New to Xbox here, anyone know how to set up the secondary profile in the game (CPU)? I know I could do it on PS4 but have no idea how to on Xbox.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Xbox user here so obviously first time Show franchise. what is the benefit of 30 team control? Reading over the thread is it really just 40 man roster control and making sure the CPU doesn't make any wild trades?

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
I got 30 team control set up successfully thanks to the video and posts. Now my question is....do I really want to do this?
The ONLY settings I put to manual for my “CPU” teams were 40 man and lineups/injury management.
This renders all CPU settings in franchise mode irrelevant since all my teams are “user controlled” correct. Meaning, trades will still be iniated by my “CPU” teams? What about resting players?Comment

I’m curious on the resting players as well. If we have lineups set to manual in the profile, when simulating won’t the cpu teams not swap players out due to fatigue?

They just won't change the line up that is set in the lineup/Pitching rotation screens.Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Go to User Settings
go to the 3 dots (...) to the right
click on "save as new preset"
It will then give you the options to Create from current, Create from casual, create from simulation, create from competitive.
Choose whichever you want, then you can edit it however you choose.
To change the name of the preset, click on the 3 dots, and click on "edit preset name"Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
I set up 30 team control with two profiles like in the video and everything was going great, then after draft day they somehow were all changed to the preset with the settings for my team. When I go through and try to change it back to the CPU settings for the other 29 teams and “apply changes” it doesn’t save. When I look at the preset associations it still shows it how I set it up at the start. But I cannot figure out how to have two different settings presets associated within the franchise now. I can “set as default” and it will change all of them to whichever I choose, but when I go to change my one team back it also doesn’t save it. Any help would be appreciatedComment

If the associations show correct then you are likely okay. What you are probably seeing is when you switch to a team in the main franchise menu screen and then go to settings it shows Franchise or user or whatever you names your own settings that does not mean that team is using those settings. Rely on what the associations tab shows and you should be good.Comment

How to Set Up 30 Team Control
You’ll get notifications but the team will manage it by themselves. If you don’t want the notifications then open up the profile (thing in the bottom left of screen that highlights green) open your inbox, click r1 to go to settings and toggle off whatever notifications you don’t want.
Edit: also, when you’re in the game settings, on the top left are you selecting the correct profile when checking the cpu settings? Sounds dumb but just want to rule that out.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
I want notifications for injuries for my team, I don’t want them for the other 29. Still baffling to me how it changed the settings and how it doesn’t save the presets even after I apply the changes. I archived a save at the beginning of the year before it got messed up and may go back and see if I can figure it out that wayComment

You can turn off notifications for all the CPU teams. Go to the profile screen “main big touch pad button” and then notifications and then cycle “R2” to each team and turn off all notifications and you should be good to go.Comment
