How are Single A teams not in the game?

MLB 2K had them ON THE OLD GEN! This is a huge oversight by the only MLB game left.

Not to mention I heard drafted players don't automatically join the team and enter at the start of the next season? What sense does that make?

Can't speak for the class A thing...but as far as draft picks go, you have to sign them first. So if you draft a guy your unsure of afterwards you don't have to sign him.

Because The Show developers have decided that its not worth the money needed to license 30 Single A ball clubs at this point in time.

And the reason that drafted players don't join your roster until next season is because there are only 90 roster slots. To add the draftees into the game, players would have to be replaced and the devs have decided it would be in the best interest at this point to have that occur at the end of the season rather than in the middle of it.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Not sure if MLB/MiLB would have an issue with this or not but it would be cool if they could add fake teams and treat single A as a short season that starts either after the draft or after the deadline to sign picks.

If I have open slots will they automatically join or still have to wait? Just started a Phillies chise with OSFM and need all the immediate help I can get xD.

I'm aware they have to be signed, but once signed they are on the team. Again 2K was able to make it work where if you signed over the player count you could release players.

                  1) It's no oversight, it's because the room was needed elsewhere. MLBK may have been a great game and looked great and had more roster space on PS3/XBox360, but it still can't compare with PS4. Anyway comparing the two is like comparing apples & pencils, so I've heard.

                  2) It makes perfect sense that just because you draft a guy, it's a given he will sign.
In 1981 the Expos drafted Mark McGwire but couldn't sign him.
In 1982 the Giants drafted Barry Bonds but couldn't sign him.
Also in '82 the Braves drafted Randy Johnson but couldn't sign him.
More recently the Cubs AND the Indians drafted Tim Lincecum but couldn't sign him.
In 1997 the Dodgers drafted Chase Utley but couldn't sign him.
This list goes on & on. And on & on. And will continue to grow each year.

EDIT misunderstood the second part of the OP.

Okay that's all fine and dandy if they DON'T sign, but if they do they should immediately be available to place in AA/AAA at the very least.

I want Single A teams too, but it's not that big of a deal. And the rookies being available next year is no issue, because of the roster limits.

But the roster limits are easy to get around. Just offer use a chance to release players before we exit the screen.

If it were as simple as you think I'm sure they would've done it by now.

It's interesting the different things we all think are important or not important. For me, I don't really see the point of A or AA for that matter since they're filled with CAPs.

How do you guys even deal with CAPs? Just ruins the immersion for me.

Again a game series from last gen had it yearly. I just feel it's them being lazy or deliberately doing it. At least give us the option before starting the mode when we want the draftees added.
