How often do you check the CPU teams rotations? Is there an easy way to know? Say someone like myself who doesn't know the starters or each team. Do you just like to see if any SP on DL?

In Season mode, no 154 game schedule. That would seem like a no-brainer to have.

In addition to this, I wish there was also a sched option to have no interleague games.
And also the ability to customize interleague sched's if you prefer interleague games.

Using quick counts for the first time and in back to back games, not only not scoring a run but coming up to the 9th down by 1 and 2 respectively. Getting 2 strikes on my batters. I mean 0-2, 1-2, and 0-2 in the last game. I mean Huston Streets not that good. Burned me twice.

                  Not in my experience.

The only guys I've had/seen thrown out are slow runners (like pitchers). I got Papi once (he's rated slower than a lot of pitchers). If it matters, I use auto baserunning.

I've seen them make it even if I don't think they should be going. But they do and they get in safe (probably because tags are still kinda off maybe).

It's certainly not been 99% of the time runners thrown out on wild pitches/passed balls.

In the RttS games I have played every OF seems to have a cannon for an arm. No hops from medium deep CF, from the wall in LF. I can deal with the howitzers, for the most part, but do they all have to be deadly accurate as well? I think I have seen 2-4 errant throws in over 300 games, minors and majors.

Yeah, I rarely steal but if there is a wild pitch in Oakland esp,. I'm taking a free base.
Pitchers can live by the foul territory in Oakland, and they can die by it.

The two-edged sword is real. And baseball wields it well.

I personally like how the CPU is actually pitching smart in situations where a DP is needed. It's up to you as the batter to lay off those pitches and force them to give you something better to hit.

I really think its the game and not me because I have had this issue ever year and like I said it like happens even when I am hitting well over all. I can have a game where I get 10 runs and like 16 hits and most likely I will still have hit into at least 1 double play in the game and its like I can get a great pitch to hit have good timing and PCI placement and I will still hit a ground ball and it sure feels like the CPU will make more great plays to when I have a guy on first base.

I know when I hit into a double play, it's usually because where I placed the bat on the ball, and the type of pitch that's thrown.

If you're swinging at a pitch low in the zone in a pitchers count, you're probably going to hit a ground ball. You can't say it's the game and not you, when no one else is blaming the game.

Go outside and hit a low cutter or a low fastball from a major league pitcher, your ball is going to be on the ground off the bat.

Anyway, not to derail the topic anymore, my major gripe with this game is the catchers and foul pop ups.

Every other foul ball seems to be a pop up right to the catcher, or a looping, high pop up that always stays in the field of play and up long enough for the ai to get the out.

Catchers react too quickly in this game. It seems no matter the ratings, they can all fly out of their stance to catch a pop up or fire the ball to first o a dropped third strike or swinging bunt in front of the plate. Are they man or machine?
