Is it just me or is this year's game substantially easier than previous years game?

Ive played on HoF difficulty for the past few years and this year's game seems substantially easier. Maybe it's because the animations have been fixed so the cheap runs are no longer there, but I don't think that's it. The CPU just seems to not mash pitching as much as they did in previous games. And yes, I know sliders rectify this, it's just an observation.

Its harder to me. I haven't swore at my tv this much since...........well I guess last year around this time.

Yeah it's easier for me as well, i think the hitting is much easier now.

I like it better that way anyways, i can actually turn on an inside pitch now and im not always late on high pitches. I think whatever changes made were for the better.

Pitching is a lot easier due to Precision Input. I'm not a fan of it, honestly. I'm not sure about hitting, i'm using directional but it seems to be broken and for some reason 90% of your hard contact hits are in the OF's hands.

The pitching is about the same to me, but hitting is way easier this year. I am smashing the ball on All-Star and I usually only played on veteran

Analog Pitching is wayyyy easier this year. I have to pitch at Legend just to get any semblance of a challenge. I might end up just abandoning it.

I've tried other modes like Meter and Pulse and they seem a tad easy too... not the meter/pulse themselves... but the batter AI is a lot less challenging in general, it seems.

I had to lower sliders for hitting because I was hitting way too many HRs, so I guess in a way hitting is too easy too. Though I wasn't getting excessive hits overall (about 7-10 per game), almost all of my hits were leaving the park. No doubles or triples at all... This was on Hall of Fame with default sliders.

I also raised pitch speed higher than I've ever had to raise it. Last year I had it at 4, this year I have it at 7.

Hitting and Pitching seems easier on All Star than it has been for me but now I am playing on Hall of Fame and I am definitely struggling on some games and seem to strike out more.

I don't know that the game is necessarily easier in itself, but I do think that hitting is easier with the new input control over it.

My wins/losses really haven't changed from last year to this year playing on default Hall of Fame.

Pitching is definitely easier than previous years, and I believe precision input has something to do with it as well. The CPU is more likely to whiff on pitches in the strike zone than before. That may also explain the increase in no-hitters and perfect games thrown. It's also noticeable on CPU vs. CPU or MoM games where the offense struggles on default sliders.

Overall, seems about the same to me.

I play on All-Star Directional/Classic. Hit and pitch from Pitcher Center like last year.

I haven't seen a major difference in hitting/pitching. Still having a hard time getting CPU BABIPs from being one extreme or the other and respecting H/9 and K/9 (either every out is a K and every BIP is a hit, or K's reasonable and very low BABIP).

Classic seems about the same - still too many balls down the middle, not enough errors that miss out of the zone, keeps walks down on both sides.

CPU just pitched a 1-hitter on me last night. Only 5 K's and guys got just 1 hit. Otherwise, Harper feels the same. Davis feels the same. Chris Taylor still can't hit. Boeve is still awesome. Huff is still a finesse master most times. Don't really feel any difference in my franchise. K'd 21 with Boeve, but he has a no-hitter and perfect game in MLB15 - so...don't know.

I've been using armour and swords settings, on HoF. The classic pitching makes it a bit more difficult because the player ratings are more involved. also using Fisheye camera is making hitting far easier, as I can read pitches better and have walked or worked deep counts more.

I'm actually enjoying this game more because it is a bit easier. Especially hitting. But Im playing on the lower difficulty. The learning curb with The Show is daunting. I have been playing it on and off since 08, and while it's a great game, hitting in particular has alway been too hard for me. So I struggled with finding sliders that provided a fun yet challenging setting. So I usually put the game down. This year out of the box I'm having a blast. Everything isn't a fly out for me. Now I get bloopers, line drives, homers and everything in between. I struggle against elite pitchers but I'm usually able to at least get on the board. That has never been the case for me before.
