Dueling with Boeve against Lucas Sims in the NLCS.

Both are throwing up zeroes. My slugging 3B hits a solo shot to go up 1-0 (fist pumps) and then I stay with Boeve for the 9th and he rings up 2 out of 3 hitters to win the pitching duel with a CG SHO (more fist pumps).

Had two last night vs the Rangers:

      * Deshields lead the game off with a triple and Leake proceeded to strike out Choo, Fielder, and Hamilton to get out of the early jam.

      * Later in the 6th, bases loaded with 1 out. Leake gets Fielder to hit into a 6-4-3 double play to end the threat.

Unfortunately we still lost the game 4-0.

Hitting walkoff HR in back-to-back games (Carter with a walk-off 2-run HR to win 5-4 and Sano with a walkoff bomb to win 2-1).

Dancing through rain drops with Alex Reyes in the third game for pretty much his whole outing. A walk and 2 singles loaded them in the 1st and he got out of it with 2 K's and a ground out.

2 RISP, one out in the second, K and 2 pop ups.

2 RISP, one out in the third, 2 K,s and a ground out

Runners on the corners, no out in the fourth - gave up a run but got a DP to get out of it.

An actual 1-2-3 inning in the fifth (almost worth a fist pump after the rest of that outing)

Was fist pumps mixed in with "Come on, Reyes!"

        Ended up winning 5-2.

Getting out of any situation with multiple runners on base and less than two outs, generally merits a fist pump. Especially if you get a big strike out with runners on second and third with 1 out.. Gets me chubby just thinking about it.

Honestly, it's pretty much each and every game I close out for the win. Getting those 27 outs requires a lot of concentration and strategy, so each time I wrap up the win I give a little fist-pump!

Just pitched a complete game with a struggling Mike Leake. That in itself deserved a fist pump.

Early June game in a Yankees franchise: we're last in the AL East, having a terrible season. We meet the O's at Camden Yards, also struggling, and take a 2-0 lead. In the top of the fifth, we get a single, a groundout, a single and a HBP to load the bases. 2 out, up comes A-Rod and he drills a HR to dead center 416 feet. Grand Slam for A-Rod! Put us up 6-0 (had been up 2-0.)

I'm into August of my Mariners season, playing the Angels, I'm up 3-2 with the tying run on first with 2 out in the 9th, I catch Kole Calhoun looking on a called 3rd strike on a full count that I thought could have been called ball four. The fist pump really came from the fact I didn;t have to face Trout with 2 on , more than actually winning the game lol

I just threw my first ever perfect game. Rick Porcello against the O's. Never had a no-hitter. I just fist pumped so hard I almost cried. I can't believe it finally happened. Been playing baseball games since Bases Loaded for NES and this was the most satisfying game I've ever had. I'm on cloud nine right now!

                        Re: Fist Pump Moments

Playing MoM leads to a whole bunch of fist pump moments since I am just the GM/Manager and have minimal control over what happens on the field. The latest fist pump moment was one of the best ones.

                        NLDS Game 3 - Series tied 1-1
                        Mets (me) @ Giants
Mets lead 4-3, bottom 8th inning.

I let deGrom come out with 106pitches (pen was tired from Harvey getting rocked in game 2). deGrom quickly allows a leadoff double. Brandon Belt comes up to bat, man on 2nd and 0 outs (Belt had hit 2 HRs in the series already, both 3run blasts). I have to pull deGrom. Bring in Blevins to face Belt. Belt slaps an 0-1 fastball to RF, runner turns the corner and heads home. Granderson (in his 2nd game back after missing 60+ from a broken shin) scoops it and sends a rifle to home. OUT! Grandy only had 4A all season, so clutch! That depleted the home crowd. Blevins then forced a pop-fly and a groundout to end the inning. Familia shut down the 9th.

                        It. Was. Awesome.

I'm down 5-1 against the Astros going into the bottom of the sixth. I scratch across a run after playing some small ball. After I show some patience at the plate and load the bases for Carlos Beltran, he does this to put my team on top...

I love even in the show how you know you got it all as soon as you hear the crack of the bat. Given how I had to claw back in that game...it was a really satisfying moment for me. I even channeled my inner Michael Kay in calling the shot and fist pumping. "Deep to right field...there it gooooooeessss... SEE YA! The Yankees have come ALLLL the way back".

Just last night, in the 11th inning, Rangers vs Astros(I'm Rangers): Bottom of the 9th, down 2, man on first, Nomar Mazara comes up. Gregorson on the hill, throws a high inside fastball, Mazara takes him yard to tie the game. That was moment number one. Bottom of the 11th(I've traded for Joc Pederson before the season), Joc Pederson up to bat, tie ball game, this time, Michael Feliz is on the hill, another high fastball, blasts it out of the yard on a no doubter to win the game! Tough game for me, not many hits on my side, so that one made it all worth it!

I hit a HR with Aaron Nola in an exhibition game vs. the Braves and I was oddly excited about it, what with Nola's 0 contact and power ratings.

I've only ever hit a HR with one other pitcher, Kershaw, who actually has some hitting ratings.

On Opening Day of my Rays franchise, I pitched a perfect game with Archer against the Blue Jays. I was absolutely stoked and went nuts! My fiancée looked at me with a strong sense of worry afterward. Haha She doesn't understand just how big of a feat that is!
