Rule 5 Draft steals. What are yours?

In my franchise, I control: Colorado, Cubs, Braves, Tigers, Boston and Seattle. Usually there isn't much talent in this draft (at least I didn't see much last year), however seen some good players available already in my first off season.

Here are my steals:
Colorado: 1B, John Singleton
Boston: RP, Aaron Loup and RP, Michael Blazek
Detroit: CF, Danny Santana
Seattle: CF, Dalton Pompey
Atlanta: SP, Zack Wheeler

So, what are your Rule 5 Draft steals.

I was able to nab Kevin Plawecki, John Singleton, and Dalton Pompey all in one R5 draft. Needless to say, Detroit's farm system is not as bare [emoji41]

Farm System? The players have to stay on the MLB roster

Santana already paid in full. First game goes in extras. Give up two runs and Santana puts one of the right field seats to tie it and eventually win the game

I haven't played that far into my franchise yet, but I've made a habit of picking up high velocity SP with A or B potential and turning them into good relievers in the past.

Did you use a 25 man roster for the franchise? Those guys should all be protected on a 40 man roster.

The CPU sometimes makes some weird choices taking guys off the 40 man in the offseason. Its not even that unusual to find a few guys like these pop up in the free agency pool after the Rule 5 draft is over.

I wonder though, because if they are taken off the 40 they would have to pass through waivers. Some of these guys shouldn't make it through waivers.

The guys that pop up in free agency are the guys that are non tendered or not offered a contract.

Also if they are non tendered they can't be drafted in the rule 5 since they are free agents.

I want to look at it later when I get home. I didn't notice that when the game came out. It would be disappointing if with custom rosters those type of guys are available.

uploadfromtaptalk1461956969752.jpg I used osfm 1st year offseason. These are the players that were available in rule 5. The only time I see players like the op had was when I loaded the osfm 25 man roster.

Whatever the OS roster that we all waited forever for is. the roster I'm using.
