I wish there was a way to adjust the sensitivity of the PCI during zone hitting

As the title states, I wish there was a slider to adjust the sensitivity of the PCI during zone hitting. Far too often I'm finding myself guessing right, mentally guessing, that I'm getting a fastball up in the zone, only to hit on top of it because the PCI was moved out of the zone.

Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining that the PCI moved that far, but I wish there was a way to slow it down some, make it less sensitive. I press up on the L-Stick and I swing over the ball. I know I can press the L-Stick less up (does that make sense) in order to square up better, but in the heat of the moment, I just press up thinking I'm going to crush the ball and find myself hitting a ground ball in the infield.

I really don't know how else to explain my "issue".

I have had the sensitivity slider for the PCI on a whishlist for a while. Hoping it makes it in one year, they were not opposed to it.

This makes a lot of sense. It's the same as aiming sensitivity in shooters.

Hitting is supposed to be hard though. If you have a slider when would you stop adjusting it, when your hitting .400?

My suggestion is for the sensitivity of the PCI, not how well I hit. In my opinion it moves too fast and I want to slow it down.

Hitting is supposed to be hard though. If you have a slider when would you stop adjusting it, when your hitting .400?

Let the user decide what they need, some have a heavy hand and over compensate. I don't see how adjusting the sensitivity will make you a .400 hitter.

And why does it matter if it makes it easier for a user? I can simply make myself an .800 hitter with the sliders we already have.

It makes no sense to have an aiming mechanic in a game with no sensitivity settings.

I saw a video once before where a person was addressing that issue. His idea what to place the thumb tip (as in the skin next to the nail) in the top of the stick. He said it was a better way to not run the pci out of the zone because your thumb position limits how far you can move it. I tried for a while and it wasn't a horrible idea.
