Just lost my 17th in a row. Averaging about 4 hits a game. Anything high in the zone is a pop up or foul. I get singles or homeruns. In my 17 consecutive losses I didn't hit any doubles or triples. Just 2 homeruns and singles. As the Blue Jays, it's a bit disheartening to say the least. It's not like I get struck out or have timing issues. I get many loud outs. I only get struck out around 3 times per game, and 2 of them are easily sheer frustration to speed along the end of the game. I see a whole lot of timing = good, huge green pci and the ball just drops into fielders' gloves. Often without them even having to move.
This is the first year I'd say hitting is bad. Normally I'd keep that comment to myself, but I'm officially playing on beginner and I can't get any hits. Meanwhile, once the cpu gets a single hit - it's on. Animations where my fielder literally dives out of the way as to avoid actually having to touch the ball. Then throwing/fielding error animations. Late jammed = triple to the opposite field. It's endless how they pour on the hits, yet I'm stuck trying to get my team BA over 140.
It feels like my input has no effect on the results. I'm sure it's just me, but at this point, it's not really fun. It's just like watching a head scratcher every game. Waiting for the cpu to finally decide it's their inning to put me away with some wonky hit/animation/bad call to start it off.
Playing 2015 tonight just so I don't get too frustrated.
