Also, the swing/timing info glitch is still there. I have to turn the pitch info on and off at the start of every game to get it to show up. I couldn't find a time table on when these problems would get fixed anywhere so I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this.

I'm playing an 81 game season and the swing/timing/pitch speed info is always there without any game to game intervention on my part. I'm using the most recent patch level, 1.05.

I don't understand how people can say it's "unplayable." We are all using a PS4 to play with the exact same specs. The only difference you could have is the TV/monitor you play on, which could result in delayed timing due to input lag. Otherwise, there's no way someone can say they have more framerate issues than anyone else.

The only time I ever see issues is during the usual cutscenes, and at some ballparks at the beginning of a sunny day game. The illumination of the textures from it being sunny seems to affect the framerate. Playing the same time of day in "partly cloudy" or "overcast" seems to make it easier on the system with less drop of frames. And due to the shadows dynamically changing throughout the game, even the sunny games seem to get better as the game progresses.

If one is experiencing issues like this, try 'Rebuilding Database' on the PS4. Fixes issues like this in games that are not widespread more often than not.

Yes the framerate is just one of many little bugs that make this game disappointing

It's gotta be the crowd. All those individual models wearing individualized clothing and different hairstyles and eyewear and whatever else, with individualized animation patterns to boot. Not saying I want cardboard cutouts but they really didn't need to take it as far as they did. It's clearly taxing to the hardware and not all that necessary imo.

It may help someone who is still deciding whether or not to buy the game to know that the framerate issue isn't an epidemic that is being experienced by everyone.

Did no one see Bcruise's videos showing frame rate issues? I did and it showed beyond a doubt the pitched balls coming in at 30 fps instead of the 60 they should be, makes it tough when batting when you see multiple balls coming at you instead of the one that should be. Some people just don't detect it is all but the issue is there.

Not to say you're wrong here but NHL specifically has the crowed wearing jerseys etc and it's smooth.

Some people wouldn't know the difference between 30 and 60 fps if it slapped them in the face.
