i've done it a handful of times and almost always after the same thing - flyball hit to the deep OF, send the outfielder over and position yourself where the game tells you the ball will land, and for whatever reason the OF just stands there and watches the ball fall. Not "oh they tried to make the catch and botched it", straight up just not loading an animation and watching the ball fall in. drives me up a wall!

stopped breaking controllers though - back in the PS1 days, was told by my mother that any new controllers would be coming up out of my pocket. treated them like gold after that.

For me as a mange mode user I'm considering the opposite of rage quitting - boredom quitting due to the ridiculously low scoring in this year's game. My team has scored a total of 5 runs in the last 5 games.

It appears they have finished patching the game. It's a shame because the graphics are significantly improved.

Have you tried nomo's sliders? He tested solely with CPUvsCPU in mind.

I super sim games that aren't close (either way, whether I'm winning or losing) because they aren't all that entertaining to me. If they start getting close then I jump back in.

Can't really claim rage I guess. I play on default Hall of Fame difficulty. I did find that Legend difficulty the CPU does seem to "cheat" which was frustrating so I just went back to HoF.

I use to rage quit all the time. Now that I'm older, it doesn't happen. Maybe because I value my time more, so after I have wasted anything more than 5 minutes in playing the game, I feel obligated to continue it out until the end so I don't feel like I wasted those 5 minutes.

Also, a good bit of therapy for me was back when I had a PS2 and I bought this controller to use when NCAA and Madden were effing me:

To this day, my favorite controller I have ever owned.

Never during an online mode but I have only vs the CPU if I got fed up with sucking in franchise lol. People have rage quit against me online but I got some complete games with that.

My rage quitting almost always involves the computer pitcher getting a big double after a walk or 2 week singles. Really any computer pitcher hit

Rage quit? When I was younger for sure. Now I'll just simply play a different game , or watch something on TV instead of getting overly upset.

One game during a losing streak where I had a 5 run lead in the 9th and decided to sim the final inning (I figured what the hell this game is done anyways) because I had to leave for work. The sim had my relievers, including Craig Kimbrel, give up 6 runs. I was so mind blown I immediately cut the PS4 off without saving.

Rage quit in franchise once because Tyson Ross hit a three-run homer into the third deck of that warehouse in San Diego. When guys with a0 power rating hits a bomb like that, winning just isn't in the cards for that day.

Threw an 0-2 12-6 curveball to Reggie Stocker. The ball was below his shins and past the inside corner of the plate. Stocker drives it 490 feet to Right at Comerica... Immediately quit the game

I came back from a 6-1 deficit the other night, so I'm glad I don't quit.

Was playing as my beloved Pirates against those most detestable Cubbies. First, Kang threw the ball WAY over Jaso's head. C'mon man...

But then, Jaso fielded a grounder and when I pressed the stick to have him tag first, he went right past the bag and jogged all the way to the dugout fence, of which he appeared blissfully unaware. It was clearly a glitch, but still, I was like:

Ughhhhhh. Feels bad man. I switched over to Don Bradman Cricket. I'm sure I'll play The Show again, but probably not for a month at the least. I just can't play as the Pirates, or else I'll feel aggrieved at anything and everything that doesn't go my way.
