Re: Things you can't do in The Show, that you can do in real life baseball (legally)
I don't think this is in 16 because I've tried, but switching the positions of players in the game. Like I have Daniel Murphy playing first base and Josh Harrison at second but I want to take out Harrison and bring in Joe Mauer I'm forced to play him at second base where Murphy would be switched to. Hope this makes sense and if anyone knows if this is in the game let me know.Comment

Go the SUBSTITUTION screen and select the first player that you want to switch the position of, then select the second person that you wish to select the position of. In the game, they will swap positions.
EX: In your case, you first highlight Josh Harrison and then select to bring in Joe Mauer. Now you have Joe Mauer at 2B and Daniel Murphy at 1B. You would select Joe Mauer and then select Daniel Murphy and they will swap positions to where Joe Mauer would be playing 1B and Daniel Murphy would be playing 2B.
Hope that made sense.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Play infield defense in RTTS. It's too difficult to see the ball coming off the bat in this year's version of the game. I (and many others) can't get a quick enough read of where the ball is going to reliably field it. This has never been a problem till this years game. It may be due to lighting changes in the game. Whatever the cause, I hope it's corrected next year.Comment

Maybe I've just never noticed it before, but do base coaches give signs for things like bunting & stealing?T-BONE.

Now all you get out of the base coaches is the advance or hold signal while running the bases and the occasional cutscene interaction of a getting on base or hitting a homerun.Comment

This is an AL only issue but, In real life you can put you dh into the field but you are now forced to have your pitcher bat if i the fielder being replaced turn to bat comes up .

I'm bringing the following up because I have heard that MLB the Show have borrowed a few elements from Pro Yakyuu Spirits in the past, and continues to be in MLB the Show.
I am currently playing Pro Yakyuu Spirits/and Jikkyou Power Pro and both games has the first baseman cover the bag when the outfielder throws to first. Through my extensive time with both games, I have never once been able to throw a guy out at first from right field even though the first baseman is covering the bag.

Allow the user to still "decide" where he would like to throw the pitch even during the windup motion. Yes, this is realistic. Plus, this mechanic can help counter online gamers than choose to abuse bunts.

Most of the stuff I'd like to see revolves around franchise and not so much visual stuff...
-Non roster invitees in spring training
-Trading cash or a PTBNL
-International free agent signing period(they could just be made up guys like the draft even)
-Different roles(spot starter, utility player, etc)
-Rain delays/double headers(with the 26th man)
-In season extensions
-7 day (concussion) dl.
-Minor league rehab assignments
-Fights/suspensions...I know this is a bit of a no-no from MLB, but they could follow the path that MVP took...they never actually showed the fight...they showed the batter charging the mound, the benches clearing and that was it. Players were ejected then suspended.
Im sure theres a couple more, but those are the ones that popped into my headLet's Go Mets!!!Comment
