1. We are great at counting things
4. You can't go more than 2 weeks without a power outage here, especially between April and September.
For this post, we will be focusing solely on #3. Now this isn't a 1977 type of blackout, or even a 2016 Mets after April kind of blackout. Usually, the power doesn't stay off for more than 60 seconds. Coincidentally, 60 seconds is just long enough for a PS4 to abandon you. Just long enough for that console to leave you more disappointed than when you post a job opening in Public Relations, and your first two interviews are with Alex Rodriguez and Chris Brown.
If you live in a normal state, and you don't have time to finish your game of MLB The Show, you just put your PS4 in sleep mode and come back to it the next day or the next month or whenever. That sadly isn't an option here. I can't be the only Floridian that has had their heart crushed in the summer, like a PETA activist who realizes her blind date is Michael Vick. I'm also sure Florida isn't the only state with this problem (though it is probably the worst, since it leads the country in lightning storms/strikes).
All jokes aside, it would be great if I could back things up with an actual game save, without being forced to then exit the game. That way I could Save my progress, then put the PS4 in sleep mode, and be secure that my game will remain in some capacity. My PS4 loses its suspended The Show game a good 10 times per year. It's already happened a few times this year, including once today.
I know this is a minor thing to complain about, but hey, it's the All Star break. I was bored.
So... mid-game saves without exiting. Would you want this to be added?
