Nice to hear that the Braves organisation allowed SCEA access to info on Suntrust Park. Looking forward seeing it in game.

Hey everyone, I have lots of pictures from PNC Park that I can post, and I'll do that later. Just wondering, how much power does SCEA have to copy outfield ads without the sponsor, or with a fake sponsor? For example, the Pirates have a giant Heinz Ketchup bottle on their outfield wall. Could that bottle be replaced in the game with a generic ketchup bottle or will we be stuck with a generic ad in its place?

Re: MLB 17 Stadium Accuracy / Feedback Thread

The 300 and 400 levels at Rogers Centre, which house the luxury suites and media facilities, need some work in the game as they don't look anything like the real thing. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate how the game currently depicts them.

For the media facilities, the game doesn't currently include them at all at Rogers Centre. The football broadcast booths and press box are visible in an attached image below (taken by me earlier this year). These facilities are located down the left field line, near the foul pole. The broadcast booths are on the 400 level, and the press box is on the 300 level. These football press box is sometimes used during baseball games for large groups. The Level of Excellence sign is now located on the facing of the football broadcast booths on the 400 level.

The baseball press box and broadcast booths can be seen here. The TV booths are on the 400 level, and the press box and radio booths are on the 300 level. Note that the linked photo appears to be from a few years ago, but the only real difference between then and now is that the ad at the bottom of the 300 level is now green. I've attached a photo I took earlier this year from centre field that depicts how they look now, but it's not as clear as the linked photo.

Luxury suites at Rogers Centre have two rows of seats, and a glass wall separating the seating area from the rest of the suite. I suspect the glass is tinted, as the suites seem a bit dark. You can see how the luxury suites look from the other seating areas in the attached and linked photos.

In the game, the 400 level luxury suites are very brightly lit, and the 300 level suites are quite dark. There is also a visible divider between suites, which isn't visible in real life.

This is very minor, but in the outfield the game omits a support column between the 100 and 200 levels (it's present in left-centre, but missing in right-centre). I've highlighted the omission in an attached screenshot from the game. An attached photo below shows that there is a support column in that area.

I'm not sure if SCEA can do anything about these due to licensing:
        • The Rogers logo in the outfield is now says "ROGERS 4KTV"; and
        • There's also a sign for the WestJet Flight Deck above said area.

Yankee Stadium right field and left score board LED's are now Red instead of Amber.

The scoreboard graphics for Minute Maid Park. Also the ribbon board on the mezzanine below with the stats/ads with no clock. The clock was moved to the right on the upper deck (Pic with Gattis)

Some updates for Angel Stadium. I took these pics last Thursday 9/15/16. I used my cell phone so I hope they aren't too low res.

                  1. The strikeout counter is on the 2nd deck near the bullpens now, it was moved from the right field tunnel a few years ago.

                  2. "Shock Top Brew Pub" in the right field second deck.

                  3. "Ketel One Club" is behind home plate, they removed the entire writers section.

                  4. The new writers section is in right field now, a few sections to the right of the Shock Top bar. Replacing Luxury Boxes 75&76

                  5. The Budweiser Patio has a large Budweiser sign above it which is not in the game. Obviously you can't use the actual logo, but a red cursive "MLB The Show" logo would look great there, similar to the ones in other parks in the game.

                    Angel Stadium Part 2

                    6. A Yakult logo has replaced the Jack in the Box logo which is represented in-game

                    7. Train Station visible from inside the stadium.

                    8. The "A" logo above the LF scoreboard lights up at night (It doesn't in-game)

                    9. Flames shoot out of the rock pile for every Angels home run and win.

                    10. Home run bucket in left-center.

I'm wondering if the following would be considered "stadium accuracy" but it has never really ever felt right pitching in Oakland because the pitcher's view never remind me of the Oakland Coliseum.
                      (1) Notice the umpires shoulder is above the height of the pads in back.
                      (2) The chain linked fence should be barely noticeable.
                      (3) The width of the door way is too wide in MLB the Show
                      (4) It always looks empty in MLB the Show because the seating aren't positioned like it is in real life.
                      (5) MLB the Show looks like there's only a single row of fans
                      (6) In real life, size of fans behind home plate looks as big as the players on the field, while in MLB the Show, the fans look tiny in comparison.

                        Russell, Slab,

I have a contact in the Astros front office that could be of help with the CF renovations at Minute Maid Park if you have not gotten any help already. If you can PM me or email me, I'd be more than happy to pass his contact info along. He'd be of a lot of help in that area.

As a Sox fan, I don't think I'll ever get used to this new name for Comiskey lol. U.S. Cellular is/was pretty bad, but at least "The Cell" is quick and easy to say. Guaranteed Rate though, man that's pretty bad.

Thanks for posting the pics of the new video boards in left and right too, that's what I came here to do. The one in center field in MLB 16 is beautiful, but it would've been nice to see the ones in left and right in the game as well. Hopefully they're in for 17!

Boston will be bypassing their number retirement rules, and are retiring Papi's number next year.
