how do u turn off the meter? I've turned off the pitch location indicator and its still way too easy. I also zeroed out human pitcher control and no difference. The mode is just too easy even on legend

I’m going to bump this, where is this option? I need to try this but I cannot find it.

Does lowering the human control and consistency sliders make any difference in walking the CPU for anyone?

Wish they would starting to use smth like the old mlb2k analog pitching mechanics, how awesome they were. Last time I had real fun pitching

Yes the 2k pitching was great! I just wish they would make the analog pitching meter harder on higher difficulties. Hoping they patch this cause I fear I'm close to not playing 17 anymore

There's no patch coming to a mechanic thats been almost exactly the same since it came out.

Crank up CPU solid hits and power, that helps put fear in your heart and makes you throw more balls.

I actually love the mechanic as it is (I like it much better than 2K's as well). I play on Hall of Fame and I'm not good enough to nail the meter every time, so I do get punished when I leave stuff over the plate, and usually give up at least a couple walks per game (I always aim for the corners and don't give in on full counts)...so it feels quite realistic for me.

If you find it too easy, tweaking the sliders should definitely help (lower control, crank up CPU contact/solid hits).
