Exactly. Go back and play '13 on the PS3 and you'll see that the frame rate is smoother than smooth. I love this series to death, but the frame rate hiccups on PS4 have been the hardest hurdle for me to clear.
If The Show 17 is 60fps on PS4 Pro, then I'll be buying a new console come Spring Training. If not, guess I'll stick with what I have and play '17 on that.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

The game play on ps4 has been smoother than smooth to and 60 FPS. Now cutscenes not so much.Comment

I think they need to make sure the PS4pro version actually runs 60fps @ 1080p....Because right now, it doesn't feel like it at all.Comment

Re: PS4 Pro Native 4K resolution running at 60 FPS with HDR support?
It really depends on what stadium you're in and the time of day when trying to see how close The Show gets to 60 FPS. Gameplay in some stadiums is super smooth (not locked at 60 but pretty close) while gameplay in other stadiums falls apart and is at best 30 FPS.
In my opinion, when this game is playing smooth it is hands down the best looking and playing baseball game I have ever seen and it's not even really close.JDComment

The frame rate is unlocked. What that means is that it could get to 60 FPS if you go into replay mode and look up at the sky and a light fixture.
Most of the time it seems to be fluctuating between 20 and 45 FPS with judder.
Since the frame rate is unlocked, patching MLB 16 to allow it to use the increased power of the PS4 Pro would probably increase the frame rate. This is similar to how you put in a new graphics card in your computer and games run faster.Comment

At any rate the target FPS of The Show on PS4 is 60.
A Pro version cannot by Sony's standard aim for a worse framerate, especially with online.
The uptick of the CPU to 2.13GHz and the vastly improved GPU will have this game running great. I can guarantee that for you!
And because of what we know about the no PS3 version thing you know the main game is going to be better with performance. Almost a given with this talented team.Comment

I thought it was said that all ps4 games released after October had to have a ps4 pro patch, now whether it is native or not is another story but I believe they will have to release some type of graphical patch.Comment
