i play on both. the thing u will get on 1080p set is the reduction in jaggy edges around objects, etc. u will see a more crisp picture.

Totally wrong. 4k noticeably better.

I think his point was ps4 pro would have less jaggies on 1080p then a regular ps4 would on a 1080p.

4K native from an image quality standpoint is not always better. It's ONLY better if you have the detailed textures and effects to take advantage of 4K. Otherwise you are just pushing a lot of pixels for very little gain IMO.

1080p downsampled from 4K has nearly perfect image quality with a little SMAA or whatever. And we better get a downsampled mode because to be honest it is unfair and extremely annoying that games like The Last Guardian leave 1080p gamers in the dust with no downsampling.

Sounds like you have some knowledge on this subject, so in your opinion is it worth getting a pro if you only have a 1080 p set?

Worth it IMO, assuming you'll eventually get a 4k tv sometime down the line.

No. Input lag is usually the result of your tv or monitor having a poor response time or refresh rate.

Yeah i had the same problem when i first got my Philips 4k TV, i literally couldn't even play the Show anymore, so i had to return the Philips 4k TV to get an LG 4k TV.

So if you can still return yours, i'd return it and get a Samsung or LG.
