What do you expect to be the selling points this year?

Just wondering what the big/main selling points will be for this year. I don't want to turn this into another "wish list". Just curious as to what the "wow" factors will be.

    Any thoughts?

Judging by the overwhelmingly positive response to nba2k17 rebranding abilities, I'm hoping MLB sees the popularity of such a feature and incorporates it into the upcoming version.

I think the biggest selling point will be that its The Show and they will continue to build upon an already solid foundation.

Personally based on just the cover athlete alone, I think they are going to be focusing even harder on Diamond Dynasty and the online "Ultimate Team" card collecting crap.

I think offline modes of Franchise and RTTS will get very little if any love this year. Which is a shame. Of courser this is just my opinion and nothing else.

I just had another horrible thought after seeing them start Tweeting about Jr.'s accomplishments. We might be getting a "Be Griffey Jr" mode like EA did with Tiger back in the day?

That's not a horrible thought, that would be actually pretty cool.

Only if they had all of the correct rosters, stadiums, etc. I just don't think this would be good. Just my .02. LOL You and I don't disagree on things very often but this one may be it.

Well darn it, now you put a damper on it by stating that it wouldn't be as good if it didn't have the correct rosters, stadiums, etc... and I have to agree with you.

The Show Franchise mode includes Rain Outs, Rain Delays and Doubleheaders.

Option to realign Franchise divisions. The Show add levels of customization starting with Class A, and the ability to carry-over user created rosters.

Improved Presentation (full replays, cut scenes, charging the mound, bat flips
                    dugout celebrations etc)

MLB The Show 17 embraces the past. Full classic teams, stadiums and rosters.

From your lips to God's ears, but the only items from that list that stand a chance are bat flips and dugout celebrations.

What do you think the issue is with division/league realignment? It's done in NBA 2k and the EA nhl series. Is it a Major League Baseball issue or the Shows issue?

Another thing would be the ability to purchase classic jerseys (if they are not in the game). Much like ncaa series had uniform packs you could buy for a few bucks.
