I dunno...I have brought this question front and center to Russell from Sony every season since MLB 13 and he said it would be a priority to add and I still haven't seen it yet

I’ve always kept stats for my sports games that weren’t included in the game. Hopefully with mlb ‘19 I won’t have to keep as many.

You, me and Blue...except my handy dandy notebook is now an excel file. For video games like Madden, Fifa and MLB I record what I want myself. I haven't seen what NBA 2K has. Football manager and OOTP, though are chock full of history.

There's no new historical franchise stats at all that are new to this year's version?

What about importing your mlb 17 franchise?

That was the coolest thing in MLB 2K, getting 22 strikeouts and then seeing the player's name (Hank Gallagher, still remember) right there on the prominently featured "Records" page alongside the likes of Nolan Ryan and Cy Young.

Another "little thing" that has me wishing for 2k again. That game was deep.

They do have a history tab it just isn't very extensive for things like homers in a season, hits in a career, wins in a career, etc. I don't recall (at the office now) if there are per game records.

I think besides just Records, we need to have season by season stats, boxscores, Standings recorded somewhere so we can view previous years worth of data for all us Stat Junkies!

Baseball, above any other sport, is about the stats....its what we thrive on when we discuss the great seasons and players from year to year!

Come on Sony, this was asked for several years ago

If MLB 2k 12 could track career accolades and numerous other sports games as well, MLB The Show has zero excuse not to at least track awards beyond the frontrunner and last couple years, let alone who won the world series/pennants. (showing franchise totals is nice but a window that showed who was in the WS with a mere list would be nice). The amount of data would be minimal compared to the amount of space HD/4K friendly GFX does.

I mean MLB 16 still is directly linked to twitter feeds via player cards (something that was kind of neat but never needed) that could have listed career accolades like MVP/Cy Young/ROY/League Leader/Triple Crown/Cycles/WS wins, milestones, etc. MLB 2k12 would even list when you won player of the week in career modes 10 years later....
