I went to the team select on a new franchise, and closed my eyes and randomly scrolled and stopped. Landed on the Rays. I completely gutted the team, Trading Forsythe, Archer, Longoria and a few other pitchers and got in return Kershaw, Maikel Franco, Lance McCullers, Addison Reed and Jurickson Profar.

Basically just got much younger. Then, I signed Luis Valbuena and Mark Reynolds to platoon at 1st. On pace for 110-120 wins!

I'm extra excited about the game this year because my roommate got super into The Show and baseball in general last year. He's just as excited for the release as I am!

In real life, when Topps releases their 2016 MLB Cards, there are people out there, who buy pack after pack to get the complete set. The game allows us to do just that (without spending real money).

It's not because I want a competitive advantage when I play online with my DD team because then I wouldn't spend 100 stubs on a 60 OVR on the Oakland Athletics. I would invest in Prime Flashback cards.

It's a cool way to Collect Baseball Cards, for free, and not leave your house.

Also, what else would you do with your leftover stubs? I do not want to buy training points and same with Franchise Budget. I personally don't play that way. Though I understand why some do.
Well said, it really is a joy.

I am currently on MLB 15 as I never upgraded to MLB 16. So I hope that I can export my Franchise from 15 right into MLB 17. Otherwise, I may just goto MLB 16 this season as I really dont plan on purchasing 2 baseball games to continue my franchise mode that I am running on MLB 15

you will probably 99% sure that you will need 16 to port it over to 17.

I did the same due to the moral bug. 16 was on sale for 11.99 over the holiday break so I snatched it up and continued on to year 3 of my franchise. I plan to move to 17 when it drops assuming no game breakers with the carry over saves. Hopefully you can snatch up 16 cheap or find a copy to borrow from someone to make a save for importing to 17.

Praying they create a mode within a mode for diamond dynasty where we don't play the same guys over and over. Some sort of league within dd would be great.(i.e. silver players only) I just don't have the time to manage a franchise and with the time I do have I want to spend it playing ball. Besides you get to create your own custom team, big grabber for me

Well, I got around to selling some of my gold and the few platinum cards this past weekend. I think I ended up with 62,000 stubs. I didn't bother to list them and just sold them to the highest buy offer.

So even if I don't sell anymore that is 62,000 training points I could use to jump start a new or young RTTS player that I can carry forward. I have a hard throwing closer who is a few years into his career and a knuckleball starter who is currently working out of the pen for the Cubs.

My main is a CF and is already a 99 and does not need the boost.
