Like the title says, where's the best place to pre-order The Show 17 from? As a Mariners fan, you can imagine I'm pretty pumped to have Griffey on the cover. That dude was my hero growing up.

If you want the HOF edition I believe Game stop is the only place to get it. If you're an Amazon Prime customer you get 20% off. That's all I know..

I second Amazon (if you already have Prime).
Only place I know you can get ANY game for 20% if you pre-order.

Its especially useful for a game that comes out yearly like The Show.
I do not care about pre-order bonuses, just the game, so the 20% off is nice.

In case no one is aware, the 20% with Prime, is good for I believe until 2 weeks after the game is released..

Edit: Also, an active free trial of Prime gets you 20% as well.

I have Prime and am not too concerned with the "stuff". I just play franchise mode so I will preorder from Amazon. Thanks guys.

i just always pre order from the playstation store, since the game will take like 15 minutes(maybe?) to download. since i have a extremely fast internet.

I am not normally into the extra "stuff" that comes with games, but I REALLY like that hat with the logo nod to Griffey....I wish I didn't like it so much, cuz I would rather have the digital copy than the disc like last year...guess Game Stop got me this time...

Only place I know you can get ANY game for 20% if you pre-order.

You can also get 20% new games at Best Buy if you have GCU, no time restrictions either. Plus GCU costs a lot less than Prime.

I'm right there with ya, being obsessed with everything Ms and Junior. I pre-ordered the special edition with the New era cap, because like somebody mentioned it is a limited edition Junior themed hat and how can I pass that up? Even though I don't really wear hats like that style, it still is pretty sweet. Plus that steel case looks amazing

normally I never pay up for any special edition of any game, but the San diego guys really got me excited for all the Junior themed stuff with this years game.

Cant wait for the 28th!

I've always been fond of the digital download. The last physical copy I purchased was (I think) '12...whichever one that came out the same day as Mass Effect 3. I can wake up at midnight and play the game when it unlocks.

Thing is I know there's a big push for digital so you would think that the digital bonuses would at least match whatever the best bonus was for physical.

My main problem is which version to get. Are the extras really worth it in the end?

I prefer digital too since PS4 installs the game on HDD even if you have the physical copy. However, there are never any discounts on digital games. Even on Amazon, you can buy the digital version and play it day one but you pay $59.99.

Since Amazon ships game to be delivered on launch date, I would rather wait until Tuesday morning/afternoon to get the game and save 20%.....since I am too lazy to get up at midnight on a Tuesday anyway.
