I love Dan Plesac! Please tell me we can hear his Kung Fu Panda schtick in the game. Haha. Reynolds and Plesac are going to make this feel so fresh!

The new commentary guys seem like a great addition to the game. The MLB Network presentation graphics also look amazing and very clean.

I may just stick with MLB Network presentation the entire time this year. Something fresh that was much needed.

Can we assign our own broadcast music to just themes 1 and 2? Cause the way we assign music now is per team, so i assume it would also stomp the MLB network music?

Showtrack looks cool. Hopefully it can be turned on for manual replays also, not just auto-play replays the game queue's up for you.

The thing that I noticed from that little bit of commentary, it sounded like they were in the booth together. The "issue" I've had with commentary in the past is that it sounded very much like it was recorded at different times. Zero continuity and fluidity. Hopefully, it sounds like a real broadcast now.

Yeah. Can't wait for the stream Thursday and hopefully some quiet gameplay time from the devs to hear the commentary for a few minutes. I really am super stoked to get Plesac. Guy is great.

Love me some Dan Plesac. Harold Reynolds is very knowledgeable as well though he may say some questionable things. Either way, they sound like a real-life broadcast team. You don't hear a lot of games being broadcasted by Matty V, Lyons and Karros. The real-life factor is a big improvement here.

And the MLB Network package is clean, smooth and looks so authentic.

Very Excited to hear what these guys have to say. As the video mentioned, they stick to their positions. Reynolds was an infielder and Plesac was a pitcher so they can both offer insight on both sides of the ball. Karros and Lyons were both position players. Plesac's pitching knowledge can really shine here.

MLB Network Presentation looks super sexy!!!!

And we even get the MLB Network theme music to boot just amazing!

I am more then pleased with Harold Reynolds and Dan Plesac as the new replacement commentators. They both know a lot about baseball and both have very unique recognizable voices. But the big question remains has has Matt Vasgersian redone most of his lines and recorded them with Harold Reynolds and Dan Plesac at the same time in the same room? If so then we may be in for a real treat!!!

As this will be the first year of MLB Network integration I hope in the future we will get Pre and post game studio updates and game recaps and also a sideline reporter. And last but not least would love to see either Lauren Shehadi or Heidi Watney added to the game!

This looks very promising but my excitement is tempered because of fear of the same style commentary returning once again!

We shell see how it all turns out soon!

While I'm excited by the MLB Network integration and understand why it would be the focal point, I hope plenty of work was still done for the other themes as well to make them worth using (unless they are simply being held over this year with a gradual transition in mind for future iterations, which would also be understandable).

Really looking forward to the live stream this week to see some of the depth behind the shiny new additions...should be a good one.

Why is this the only sports game with multiple broadcast packages?

NBA 2K has different guest commentators so you don't have the same team every game. Thing I love about The Show is that they give you the option to change it up so you can have variety.

Seems like whoever did the initial stream schedule graphic "miscounted" the number of stars...err..letters, subtracting one each from Reynolds and Plesac's last names. lol. These devs are tricky...
