I'd love to see the tagged mapping for angels stadium. I doubt it works like this but it's be cool if the rock formations were divided in two since its such a big object. Lots of homeruns hit the bottom of the fountain every year and it's almost normal, but it'd be cool of there was a line for the top half of the fountain since its so far.

That aside, I was briefly amazed they bothered tagging the jumbotron at Marlins park, then I remembered Stanton

Game looks great. I know it's still a WIP, but a few things I noticed:

I assume at some points in the video, they let the game play out CPU vs CPU:

1. I wish the baserunning icon could be disabled (along with every other icon, notification, etc) as i use auto baserunning and auto fielding and pitch and bat from broadcast view . The fact that it is still displayed during a CPU vs CPU game leaves me with little hope. These icons detract from the 'like real life MLB broadcast' feel especially with the awesome MLB network theme.

2. I assume nobody pressed X during the game playing out...i was hoping the break in sequence of the catcher throwing the ball back to the pitcher wouldn't happen this year unless X was pressed. i assume broadcast gameplay will still have certain 'fastplay' like elements this year

ah well, game is still great considering the countless good things i don't have the wrist strength to type out

For all the complaints about commentary and correct shades of red THIS is the thing that bothers me the most. Why can't they show the last 0.2 of a second of animation showing the ball going back to the pitcher? Really weird and very jarring. That and the non rotating interleague schedules are the only things that really bother me.

So if I use MLB Network presentation as my default, will there be any difference in regular games vs the MLB Network scheduled games?

For all the complaints about commentary and correct shades of red THIS is the thing that bothers me the most. Why can't they show the last 0.2 of a second of animation showing the ball going back to the pitcher? Really weird and very jarring. That and the non rotating interleague schedules are the only things that really bother me.

This bugs me too. I am one who appreciates the speed of baseball and I am in no hurry to get to the bottom of the ninth. I thought it would be great to have Fastplay, Hybrid and Normal play modes. But there seems to be no difference between Hybrid and Normal. It's strange. It's like going to the movies and they try to sell you a medium or a large soda. What, no SMALL? How can you have a medium without a small?
I'm sure the presentation will be great, but I hold out hope that it will not be rushed again this year.

Just to play devil's advocate. The presentation in the stream was on Hybrid. So don't give up hope quite yet.

I seem to remember one of the developers, I think it was Ramone, dismissing talk about creating a more realistic game flow during one of the streams last year. I remember the person saying that making things 'faster, faster, faster' was the only way to get more people playing (ie, buying). I honestly doubt they're gonna cater to purists who enjoy the downtime between pitches.

I wouldnt mind it if the default gameflow was the fastest but you could turn on an option for full-on slowdown mode. Complete with entire foulball follow and catcher to pitcher throwbacks. What else am I missing? seems like theres at least a couple more biggies.

This is probably my biggest concern. I'm honestly waiting for it to get to the point where it doesn't even resemble baseball at all. I mean real baseball is heading that way, why would we expect The Show to be any different. If that day ever comes I will just stick with whatever the last game is before that and be happy.

I remember this too. But they already have a system in place to please everyone. We just hope they use it.

This is probably my biggest concern. I'm honestly waiting for it to get to the point where it doesn't even resemble baseball at all. To get those game times under 150 minutes, they could have something built into the ground behind the mound that shoots a new ball up with air-pressure and the pitcher catches.

I noticed Harold Reynolds baserunning aggression was 99. Gonna have to bump that down somewhat. Just a very minor thing, though.
