This isn't the thread for that we'll get a new one opened for The Show 18 when that time comes.

This might be considered a "suck up" post, but you even being on here and answering questions from fans and really listening is, honestly, the most refreshing thing I've seen. It must be ultra difficult at times to listen to fans (including myself) give their .02 on how the game should look, feel etc. but even after that, you and the team still look to be in great spirits. In all honesty, you should be because this game looks AMAZING. I haven't been this excited for a video game in a long time. I'm 31 man...the days of being this excited should be gone, but alas, here I am...and that is a real testament to the hard work you guys do.

All I'm saying is thanks guys! Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

I'm confused about the difference between MLB Network as a presentation theme (OSD's) vs MLB Network as a scheduled game broadcast. What happens on those MLB Network scheduled games that doesn't happen on a regular game with the MLB Network set as the presentation theme?

No difference. When it's on schedule it's the default presentation. That is only difference.

ShowTrack apparently only happens with the MLB Network theme. Kirby's said it twice, once in the Gamestop video and once on stream.

Less of a concern since we can choose the presentation package before every game (even in Franchise), but I was still hoping all the packages would use it.

So much for the constant, "We are working on it" "Game is not finished" comments. They said they will fix things but end up not doing so. Oh well! Hopefully, the glitch pitching motions are fixed but I'm not expecting much!

Do you understand what "art freeze" means? The only way they would be changing the uniforms this year at this point would be to delay the release of the game. And that's not happening.

Except they said all of that before the deadline. Whatever, jersey colors don't concern me as much anyway but stuff like that should not be a problem and we shouldn't be the ones telling the developers to fix things they should know themselves. These wrong colors are not exclusive to this year. It has been an ongoing problem.

Adam said they use style guide images to get the colors.

There's no way this is 100% true and they themselves proved it wrong this year. For years the Mariners teal jerseys and the Red Sox red jerseys were too dark. This year on OUR fan feedback they were able to brighten both of those jerseys. Is our fan feedback in the style guide? Highly unlikely. If they can brighten those two jerseys and darken the Pirates black jersey among other color brightness corrections then they can brighten the Nationals red jersey. They literally just haven't done so but that doesn't mean they can't. And please don't tell me the Nationals have maroon jerseys in the style guide because there's no way that's true.

"Art freeze" doesn't mean "everything freeze." Just because they can't change the artwork at this point doesn't mean they are completely done working on the game. They aren't lying by saying "we are working on it." People just interpret "it" to be whatever their particular nitpick is about. We now know that "it" does not refer to artwork.

Personally, I'm glad to hear it's in art freeze...if I had to read another post about the Indians' sock colors or the Nationals jersey being 5% too dark....lol

Some posters in here are happiest when they're unhappy, if that makes sense.

I'm guessing they all will, though some might be more restrictive to just "stands, bullpen, second deck," etc. just because there are some places a ball simply can't land.

I'll have to check and see if "concourse, facade, batter's eye," etc. were things to look for in tagging. I am beyond stoked about this feature though. Hopefully it continues into replay a bit (that's what ESPN MLB did at least).

So pretty much everything that I mentioned is in the tagged sections. I didn't see facade anywhere, but then again I don't think I saw a facade anywhere either. We'll have to wait for Safeco or Miller Park or something to know that much.

I also noticed that in Chicago they specifically said "bleachers" instead of stands, but does the game's art reflect that? Are there bleachers in place there, now? Or are they still seats? I might have to check out older Wrigley videos and check it out. I would hope the same for AT&T Park as well.

Which reminds me, I pine for the day of either getting a real announcer for HRD (instead of the PA guy), or have the PA guy have "tags" as well for his calls in HRD.

It's really an underrated mode that I don't think gets the limelight quite as much. Since the time of day progression has been instituted in this game, HRD never was given that treatment. I think I understand why, though (how is time going to pass for a batter on every pitch, unless you want it to get dark in like 20 pitches? So I see where they don't quite have that down. But I do hope we can enter manual replay someday!
