Wow all this sugarcoating !! Matt needs to go !!! Regardless of who they put in Matt should been replaced long ago he has very boring voice and don't give me this he's recorded so many lines you can't replace him cause we know anything new sounds better then the same thing and from the stream doesn't matter if he recorded new stuff still sounds conjurted not in the same area code as the other commentators ..

I think they have made it pretty clear Matty V is staying. Plus look at the lack of comments Dan Plesac made. You can only implement so many lines in a cycle

This is one opinion. I happen to like Matt and all he brings to the game. Not to mention all we loose if they take him out. But that's just my opinion.

Damn, i was hoping Bryce Harper would look a lot better with the rest of the face updates they've shown, especially his beard, but it looked more or less the same as last year which was bad.

And his batting stance was bad too, bat not resting on his shoulders, and he has a toe tap, hardly looks like his stance at all.

I was disappointed in Bryce Harper too. But I keep in mind to reserve judgement until game is released. Now they didn't answered a question or two I posed about it. The chat does move quickly. I am sure that the SDS team are seeing our reaction and will hopefully address it.

Other than that I enjoyed and appreciated the stream. Pleasac is a funny guy. He probably mispoke the title on purpose. He is the cut-up on MLB Network. Love it!

The burgundy color of the Nationals red jersey, helmets, and caps is all the more striking when you see an ad for their caps just behind the batter and the ad has the correct color. Please put brightening red jerseys at the top of the 2018 to do list as far as uniform tweaks and corrections.

Seems like all the Alternate jerseys are the problem.. Giants orange, A's yellow, etc.

Nope! I remember on the IGN stream, Ramone said replays were untouched! Speaking of managers, them celebrating homers has not changed either!

Pretty sure he was talking about replay review when he said that not replays in general

Okay, last night I was writing up a big post about announcer stuff, and in my post I started to mention that ESPN Major League Baseball was the only baseball video game to date where the announcers mentioned where a ball would land, and that this game needed it badly. Now that I can watch the archive, I can say...

THIS GAME HAS THIS!!! I am seriously so stoked!

EDIT: Oh, I didn't mention I couldn't make that post because my laptop did an automatic restart for updates. I hate it when I lose everything like that!

I love seeing all the people complaining about commentaries. I don't even have to worry about it as I am deaf and I just either play the game or turn on the subtitles (yes it's actually being used and probably the only sport game that has it... thank u SCEA!)

I've always wondered what broadcasters are saying in the games but I just play them and guess lol.. Till I first bought The Show '08 and was surprised to see subtitles in them.. Pretty cool!

Anyways off to watch the stream now that the kids are finally asleep.

Solid stream. Harold sounds great. Plesac knows his stuff. It's more realistic that Harold talks about everything and plesac chimes in occasionally knowing both their personalities lol

Show track is cool, the Stadium Tagging will add a lot to homerun calls.

Fortunately, on the field night lighting looks fantastic. It's only the sky I'm talking about here.

The blue tinted sky looks so much better. I never understood the brown sunsets it makes it look like the world is going to end

Bryce Harper looks like the same player model from last year.
Nats away jerseys are too dark. They need to be a much brighter red color.

I'm so happy to see they FINALLY moved the numbers up on the backs of the uniforms. Should make the Yankees look a lot better.

The catcher animations also look great and much-improved. The catchers have a lot more life now, and move differently depending on the pitch/situation.

First half of the stream was good. Disappointed in the 2nd half because the 2nd half of the stream was hijacked. Ramone came in and he wanted to talk about everything other than "Presentation and Commentary". Kind of hard to follow the new commentary when people are talking over the game commentary. Kirby tried to keep the stream on topic, definitely not disappointed in his attempts. But I guess he does not have a high enough pay grade to prevent the stream hijack.

I will just have to wait until the 28th to see and hear the rest of what Kirby wanted to show us, but couldn't.
