Love this thread! I do the same thing every year.

Look at all the new player faces/home run swings/stances/equipment.

Look at new DD missions/cards.

Play Exhibition Game, Yankees vs. Mets at Citi Field, now with MLBN Broadcasting.
(in recent history: first game of MLBTS '13 Walk-off Home Run with DWright.
first game of MLBTS '16 First batter of game (Granderson) Home Run.)

From there, play various Exhibition games with almost every team to play with star players in most stadiums.

Then, for first time I will carry over my RTTS to finish out my career (currently 33 with 620 Career Home Runs). But once I finish his career, I'll make a new one with default SCEA rosters with top-50 prospects.

Play a lot of RTTS and DD (Seasons and Events, hope to get some sweet rewards) until OSFM drop so I can start my 30-team franchise where I play all 162 with Mets! (Now with Critical Moments, I'll get to play big moments with the other 29 teams too!)

I haven't played this game in two years. I have no idea what I'm going to do or what to even expect! I think I might just sit and stare at the main menu for a while.

Don't forget to let it idle when you're pitching so you can stare at the random idle cutscenes too.

RTTS. I don't move saves from the year before so I'll create a new RTTS season, 2B as usual.

Ooh, this reminds me: might have to play my first game at Shea instead of Atlanta. Mets-Dodgers in honor of Bad Lieutenant.

The devs have added so much to this year's game, I completely forgot about the Classic Stadiums!

Always do a Sox Cubs game. Always pitched Sale past 3-4 years but now the first thing I will do before the game is call up Moncada for the game lol

Go through the uniforms just to check them out. I know there is a video but still gotta look to see the new ones that were added then play a few spring training games to get use to my team and feel of the game.... then franchise for me. Oh and check out the sounds of the show.

2nd thing I will do is get in a practice game with the Braves against the Marlins for one "last" game at Turner.
3rd thing I will do is get in playoff mode game against your 2017 Defending World Champions Cubs at the new SunTrust Park.

Every time a new stadium is introduced, I play as the Yankees in whatever stadium it is. So Yankees @ Braves w/ MLB Network broadcast & check rosters & faces.

A few exhibition games to start then play a lot of DD and start a new RTTS until OSFM is released.

I'm contemplating restarting my rtts player with the new improvements. Maybe I'll fire up my current guy to see if they put changes this far into his career. I play that as I await the best rosters to start my franchise or if I only have a little time. But the first thing I do is look at every uniform and make my annual errors/omission thread...which I'm hoping is a lot less work than previous years. I think the developer did great in that category this year.

First thing I'll check out the new CAP engine and look at the new faces for all of my favorite players in the roster screen. Then I'll go into a game at PNC Park and explore and graphic improvements in the stadium. Then I'll jump right in to trying out the new gameplay

I'm going to start a brand new RTTS player (outfielder this year since I had a middle infielder and pitcher last year) and enjoy the RTTS improvements and new Pave Your Path. Then I'm going to transfer last year's players to see how the experience differs for those. Then on to starting a DD team...those things should keep me plenty busy until the OSFM is out...then on to my Oakland A's franchise...OK, that was like first 4 things, but I'm excited...do you blame me?!?!

First i'll take a beer. And nuts. Then i'll watch a CPU vs CPU game just to enjoy The Show ( i'll use MLB network this year ! ). I will pause the game here and there sending photos to my PSN friends which don't know nothing about baseball.
