In MoM if you are doing 30 team control, can you not flip to the other team during the game?

Situation, Im pounding the opposing relief pitcher and the manager WILL NOT take him out. He has NO CONFIDENCE and almost no energy. I want to veto and put in another reliever (my hook is at 5 fyi). Do I need to have a second controller or something? This type of crap really kills it for me. Ive thrown hook up to 10 and HE STILL wont pull him.

No offense, but talking to my buddy today on the phone (plays one game a day per the schedule), he had a 5-2 game in the first inning. He's never had a problem with the scores like you say exist (don't exist).

If your hellbent on default only then i would suggest you trade the game in.On default Manage only Mode offense remains down.With slider adjustments myself and others can find a fun and enjoyable game with close to normal offense.Nomo's are the prefered choice by most that play Mom that i know.I personally use my own.

I'm familiar with Nomo's stuff over the years. No thanks. The previous poster indicated there was no longer a problem. I'm just asking a simple question. The answer is they haven't fixed it.

No. Playing with default sliders makes absolutely no sense.

Question....why did they put sliders in the game? Why did the put game play options in the game?

Simple, because people have different experiences with the game. If you are stuck on default sliders and won't use them, then you should not complain about the game, period. You're sort of beating your dead horse here.

hey forme i have this problem leading to big innings. if i set controls to 30 team i can control both teams? thus both bullpens? be nice if i could do this with just 2 controllers? dont really want to play 30 team but will if i can control other bullpen. the bullpen AI is not very good at all. this is for mom of course. thanks

You can not. 1 of the reasons I did 30T control. Once in the game, you can not team select. Thus stupid innings. Luckily it only happens so far against texas, if I'm leading, and if they bring in Claudio. Its the only situation it's happened.

I have steal ability at 6.

I can not steal at all. No matter the count, who is pitching, what the leg kick is, who is catching, what pitch is thrown. Kipnis, Lindor, Brantley, Ramirez all get caught stealing. Combined, I believe they are 2 for 8. I dont want to adjust the slider higher, because the cpu has NO issue stealing with guys with speeds in low 60's and low steal ability.

Has anyone noticed, that when you bring in a reliever, the screen that shows when he comes in, his vs batters is reverserved compared to what you see in the bottom left corner before each pitch. For instance, I brought Logan in, and in the stats display as he came in showed vs LHB .000 vs RHB .333. Then in the box in the lower left corner that shows his # (thats a number sign, not a pound sign lol) of pitches and energy, shows the opposite, vs LHB .333 and vs RHB .000

Ive figured out how to make MoM play realistic. Whichever you are going to be, when you go to play the actual game, be the other team. Its amazing. I play my team and Kluber pitches like a A ball rookie. Play against him, and hes a Cy Young All-Star. Play my team, no one can hit or get quality hits, play against them and they play like MLB ball players. Using Nomo's 6/23 set and OSFM default contract roster from May. :

So, I know this is an old thread, but I am THRILLED to have found it. I've been thinking about this game for awhile now, but as an Xbox owner it was not in the cards, obviously.

Until......

I used my bonus and bought a PS4 and The Show! I play all my sports games in "coach" or GM mode, and this game looks fantastic (with Nomo's sliders, of course).

MOM mode, here I come.
