Yeah I beaned one yesterday in what appeared to be the shoulder of the pitcher. He bobbled the ball afterwards and I safely made it to 1st

Not sure if these are things that have been in the game for ages, but...

I had a moment where the cameras cut away, and the announcers said there was a break in the action because of a streaker, who was then apprehended by the security, and it all happened in one game today!

In that game I also had a perfect game ruined by an error in the eighth inning on a throw to 1st base. My pitcher - Rich Hill - then had to be taken out of the game one out later because he was hit in the head and suffered a concussion, so in the end I got a combined no-hitter.

Now, I've been playing The Show since 2008, and I've never had a perfect game, a no-hitter, combined no-hitter, streaker or a pitcher taken out of a game due to a concussion!

I just wish they'd fix the *** **** cutscene frame-rate, which is just woeful at times, and at Wrigley in a game that changes from day to night, seems to be worse than most places (OG PS4). Dammit SDS, this is the best sports game I've ever played, but my OCD can't take the frame-rate drops in the action scenes, you're killing me guys!

I've seen quite a few line drives right back & hit the pitcher..

          1. I was playing RTTS & my player lined it straight back up the middle, hit the pitchers left foot & went up towards first base some & the first baseman caught it for the out.

          2. My favorite. I was pitching & Michael Wacha took a line drive right between the neck & back, in the meat & he went straight down to his knees. Lol my second baseman was able to get it & throw the runner out.

I was also playing earlier & hit a line drive to Yelich, I thought he just dropped it cause it was a sinking liner but then it said he might have a concussion. In the reply it showed him missing the ball but catching it right with his face.

Yeah I really can't stand the frame rate drop during cut scenes. I also hate that the graphics look pretty bad during replays. That is when it should be slowed down and looking the best. At least that is how it looks in real life

Funny little thing happened to me yesterday, sadly I couldnt record as I use remote play and for some reason cant get the function to work.

Anyway, reminiscent of the OAK v SEA incident where the ball hit the bag, in my game, the CPU hit (PIT iirc) a fair ball down the 3rd base line. One of the PIT players advanced from 2nd as they had men on 1st & 2nd. My 3rd baseman moved into position to scoop up the ball and try to get the final out....

However teh ball hit the bag, blooped up in the air... the PIT runner was sliding into 3rd headfirst, the ball would drop and land squarely on his helmet as he finished his slide and would trickle away, leaving me facing a bases loaded situation

In Franchise Mode, year 1, playing as the Cubs.

I'm playing a game against the Boston Red Sox, in which Rick Porcello is pitching.

Harold Reynolds makes a comment during a Kris Bryant at bat that it was really cool to see a Cy Young winner from last year facing off against an MVP from last year.

I proceeded to hit a HR off Porcello. :-)

In RTTS, why does it still happen that when I'm on a hitting streak, the manager will pinch hit me for an at bat?! It's usually for a game I'm down by 5 runs in the 6th inning too. No actual manager would do that!

I wish you would've been able to get a video of this. That is awesome!
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Yeah im sure there is a way, but for me it fails as my pad disconnects

Looked brilliant though even if it came at a cost to me!

Grounded to SS, he made a great diving play, stood up but didn't make a throw to first. I thought it was a glitch at first but a few seconds later a window popped up saying the SS got injured on the play.

Nice to see the injury happen DURING the play rather than have him complete a throw THEN get injured (which could still happen of course)

so it's entirely possible that I just accidentally changed settings, but I noticed when playing at Busch stadium that the pitching camera view from the outfield that I used moved to the same location that it is on TV. Guess I just noticed since I'd been on a homestand at Miller park. Kind of a cool feature.

Yep, the broadcast cam for each stadium is true to their real broadcast angle. One of the best little things in the game.
