This thread is too massive to see if this is mentioned, but playing caroms off the wall this year is 1000% improved. It didn't seem like it was that important, until seeing it in action.

In no particular order:

1) variety of check-swing animations

2) menu music is louder

3) Humanity AI for outfielders playing balls off the wall - I've seen misplays, I've seen fielders slowly jog after balls over their head because they are waiting for the ball to bounce back toward them off the wall, I've seen fielders dive and miss balls in the gap, and their backup took a bad route and has to turn and run it down.

4) Record holder list shows their actual name, even Barry Bonds, rather than the old way of LF San Francisco or whatever it said.

5) stadium lighting and shadow detail at twilight, even in minor league parks, seems even better than 16

6) Mullet hair cut.

7) when in the clubhouse view in RTTS, music reverb is different, like it is playing through a boom box in the room or something.

That's all I can think of until tomorrow probably.

I wonder if they will update the functions for editing cleats. especially for the new era cleat that a ton of the players use you cannot edit them realistically. will there be an update to the editing ability with cleats?

a little thing that I will take this opportunity to vent
arodys vizcaino is in his 3rd consecutive year with atlanta and he has pitched 89 of his career 94 innings for the braves, but his player card is from his 5 innings as a cub from 2014? grrr!

I'd trade him for a ''not-ready-for-primetime'' prospect, but my 'pen is too thin as it is lol
maybe I'll dump him on the royals and get chris withrow back. but even then I'm leaving a bit on the the table as withrow is a C potential and arodys is a B.

IDK if this was in last year, but the shots of managers giving signs add a lot for me. Very cool little thing.

When my own manager did it, I was like: "****, should I steal??"

I wanted to do a Franchise Fantasy Draft, and the game makes it terrible. The draft AI is so bad, taking Kenley Jansen in the top-5 and several closers in the first round. No nuance in draft strategies either, you can basically write the first round in pen because it never changes. It feels dirty going into those things and watching teams take closers early, while Andrew Miller sits forever with the dreaded "RP" tag. I can probably take him in R8-10 like I did last year and make him my closer. It's just not fun that way.

I'm not sure if it was in previous games but I actually struck a player out while he also got beaned 😂 . He checked swing at a high inside fastball and it plunked him in the shoulder... Pretty awesome!

This isn't verbatim, but I just heard it as I was in the 12th inning of my game and cracked up enough to try and type it out. Vasgersian said:

"And folks due to our late running game the program 'In the Kitchen' with Scott Rhodie will not be airing on your local station following the game. Don't shoot me ladies, I'm just the messenger."

This is an example of what Commish is talking about when it comes to Little Things.

Whooo! Everyone who does roster's or like player likeness. Remember the retired guys. Getty imaged them. If you edit the replaced player down to a tee. Maybe a name! You will get his baseball card. SDS has done a helluva job in implicating this. With all the create a player feature's. We can do work!
