Hoping the guy on ebay I got 16 early from last year has 17 early. Last year I got it 5 days early then I picked up my MVP Edition from Best Buy and sold the standard edition I got early on ebay.

Would really like to get an early copy this year because I am leaving for Texas for 6 days 2 days after The Show comes out, so I really want to get some time in with the game before I leave.

Only sports game I have gotten early is Madden. But the Pro Mode announcement has me itching to play this asap so I may try a little this year

I've pretty much given up on finding games early. I'm not gonna pay a ridiculously over-inflated price for a game to have it a few days early. If that's your thing then then that's great. Just not something I would do.

And the other big reason is where I live. I live in a small town and the only places to get new games is Gamestop and Walmart. We have a couple game exchange type stores, but they don't get new games.

It was different when I lived in Akron. There was a place that I got a few games early. I basically got tight with the manager and he would slip me some games early for like $10 extra. Unfortunately he got caught doing it and got fired. I felt bad, but it's not like I was gonna turn down getting games early because he might get in trouble.

I did just think of a time where I was able to snag MLB The Show 11 early at Walmart. I went in one night and was just looking at the games like I usually do and saw they had put out the game a week early and got all excited and asked an employee to get it out for me and when she went to ring it up it said something like unable to complete transaction, so I played it cool and she didn't know any better so she rang it up as general merchandise and I got it. lol

This thread has always been created early and is usually full of good discussion and people helping each other out. I don't see anything wrong with it.

Its also a just good place to drop in and say "I live in such and such area, please P.M. if you know where I might get it"
But I certainly wouldnt come into this thread thinking "30 posts! I'm sure to get it early!"

You know I never thought I would go digital, but it has actually been a great tool to keep me from buying too many games like I used to. Now I am much more careful and do more research into what I buy. This has lead to me finding great games that I really enjoy and not having a ton of games that I never get around to playing. Its not a perfect system but knowing you cant get rid of a game makes me less willing to spend money on everything under the sun.

Also every once in a while you can land a solid game for free when PS Plus has the freebies each month. Don't have Plus currently, but I did in 2015 when Rocket League popped up as a free game.


Sadly my ps4 crapped out and the new one, RL wasn't free anymore. I guess the library under your username only applies to purchased titles.

I've always wondered how anyone even gets this early. Number one it's illegal number two there are measures in place to prevent it from happening. I mean guess I know "how" it happens but maybe I'm more so amazed that so many actually do get away with it.

Digital Deluxe PS store. Initially pre ordered @ GameStop ... when SHOW fam said you can play that night 9pm pt I got my GameStop $ back and went with Digital Delude from PS store

Basically retail stores usually get games a week or so early. It varies though. So people who work there will either steal them and sell them early or it might be the people who own like a mom and pop store who decides to sell their copies when they get them and ignore the street date.
