To be fair to SDS, they used the blue helmets when they used these jerseys on Canada day. Obviously, I'm not sure if Toronto updated their style guide to regard this change before the season. I actually don't fault them on this one.

From what I've read , batting helmets are never included in the Style Guide. It's understandable SDS had no idea what colour the helmet would be . And as you said , use the blue one was a good guess.

What with the Colorado Rockies piping on their grey pants....the piping is way too thick. This looks awful with their grey road jerseys. Looks like the don't even match. In years past Grey with the pinstripes was an option so I didn't have to look at the hideous away pants

This is something that has been bothering me as well. Its not just the Rockies away uniform. Marlins, mets away, white sox away have it too AFAIK. Like have they not watched a single marlins game? It feels like some teams get more love than others in the uniform dep. So frustrating bc youd think its real easy to fix. Kinda how the Angels have black belts in the game AGAIN. Like sigh..[emoji85]. I still love this game tho.

This is something that has been bothering me as well. Its not just the Rockies away uniform. Marlins, mets away, white sox away have it too AFAIK. Like have they not watched a single marlins game? It feels like some teams get more love than others in the uniform dep. So frustrating bc youd think its real easy to fix. Kinda how the Angels have black belts in the game AGAIN. Like sigh..[emoji85]. I still love this game tho.

The most popular teams, and the Padres, seem to get more uniform tweaks, detail, and correction. Oh and the World Series teams.

I wonder if they will patch in the new matte helmets for the Mariners, Rangers, White Sox etc. I remember they did the same last year!

Not sure if this an error or omission but the White Sox 80s alternative uni's team color is still black so all accessories and shoes are still black when in reality it should be red like seen below.

The patch updated the Orioles helmets and corrected the Black alt at home to be paired with the white paneled helmet. However, to do this they paired the alternate "o's" cap with the home helmet. If you wear this hat on the road it will also give you the home helmet with the white panel. So you have three choices on the road which are all incorrect :

1. Go with the normal road hat to get the road helmet
2. Use the black BP hat with the black uni (which they occasionally do) and get the nonexistent black helmet
3. Go with the incorrect white-paneled helmet on the road.

The pants also don't have the number on them, which bugs me. But that's a template problem I would imagine. This is because the team color 1, 2, and 3 don't change. I think.

This can be changed though as several teams have "team colors 1-3" that change based on alternate and/or throwback uniforms. It's just a matter of them putting it in the game.

I noticed they changed the Marlins orange alternate jersey pants piping from orange to the correct black. If anyone knows of any other minor uniform errors, you may wanna check again because they may have been addressed.

Idk if anyone is mentioned it yet, but I noticed a mistake in the Pirates '79 throwback yesterday. Their jerseys are pullovers, but in the game they have buttons running up the middle.

Can someone make a post with which matte helmets have been added so I can update the master post? Orioles for sure. Need confirmation on rangers, Mariners (not throwbacks) and a few others. Thanks.

As for the post about the Pirates not having a pullover, nobody does. It's a template issue.
