Among other things that I would like added or fixed, I think next year they need to focus on getting these colors to pop.... grass, uniforms and dirt.

I think it is the lighting they use, day games look great to me. But when it's cloudy or a night game. Jersey's and grass get a little washed out.

Yeah I will say day games look a heck of a lot better. The red jerseys are still faded. But it's not nearly as big of a gap between real life and video game as it is for night games.

Anyone know if the Cardinals Caps made it in the update? Won't be home to see for myself until tomorrow

I highly doubt this gets added.

Many jerseys are correctly colored and several that were wrong in the past were corrected this year so the corrections can be done, they just haven't been done for all. This is both a relief as well as it is still frustrating.

Yeah the red hues/values are waay off... seems like it would be something easy to fix

Are they saying that the red uniforms can't be fixed? Last year, FIFA 16 had Manchester United's red shirts looking pink and after all of the complaining, it was fixed in a patch. Surely if EA can do it, Sony can. Maybe we're not being vocal enough or to the right people.

SEA is usually hesitant about making art changes in patches. I know that the Tiger's NNOB was fixed by patch this year, but it was clearly a bug that was causing the names not to show up in game. I really think that SCEA thinks that the colors are right, and it is up to their art team to make the changes.

I'm not sure if any one caught this but they also added the names to the back of the Dodgers blue alternates in one of the patches.

I'm still curious as to know what the deal is with this jersey.

The Dodgers have that jersey listed as an alternate in their style guide. Apparently, they plan to use it for a few Sunday games.

I don't see how color is subjective when you can actually use a tool to grab the identical hex value of a color. That response is on the weak side.

I'm thinking the color issues with bright jerseys are more about them reproducing natural/artificial lighting in MLB parks. If they lighten it too much it could look almost cartoonish. I don't know, but you can see the player's skin sometimes seem grittier too. There should almost be a glow from the reflection of the light. It might not be very easy to balance in the game.

I can't believe they still haven't fixed the incorrect road helmets for the A's. It's the reason I dont start a franchise with them. They had it correct last year. What went wrong?

I don't know, the Blue Jays for a few years had the issue of the blue on their jerseys being far too dark and that eventually was fixed. The Red has been almost burgundy for almost as long.

In real life the A's use the same green and gold batting helmet for home and road games, this was fixed in last years game but this year has reverted back to the all green helmet for road games that they no longer use. The logo on both home and road helmets is also wrong.
