+ Game looks really good. Loving the player models, plus the smooth frame rate is a BIG plus. Honestly don't see that much a resolution difference between 4K and 1080@60fps on my 4K TV.

+ Ball physics definitely changed gameplay for the better.

+ Though commentary still isn't perfect, I do think this year's game has the biggest improvement in that area in a long time.

- The mammoth home runs are out of control in this game. It feels like 95% of long balls hit are over 450ft. And it's not just the big power guys hitting them. Guys with average to below average power are hitting 470ft bombs as well. I'm getting the feeling the changed ball physics may have something to do with the distance batted balls are traveling.

Two outs, two strikes, runner on third, I get jammed at the plate, hit a bloop down the right field line, runs scores. Seeing some awesome hits.

Awesome game. Only complaint is I was hoping for improvements to Safeco Field. Like thr True to the Blue sign under the Safeco Field sign. Also the scoreboard in left field is digital and should have animations as well.

Were mascots removed? Just played a whole game in Cleveland and didn't see Slider once. That would be cool if you could see them wandering around during gameplay and not just in a cut scene.

Legends in retro mode! I didn't know. So cool.

Random insignificant complaint I've had for years: I always turn api off bc the cartoon catchers mit is ridiculous and ruins the realism. I wish it was just the catcher putting his glove where he wants the pitch.

I'm not huge on impressions all I will say is the Show 17 is the Ultimate truth!!! The game is flat out beautiful , gameplay is perfect , this is what we have been asking for !! I can't wait for rosters, honest this maybe the only game I play the rest if the year!!! I'm in total awe!! Game is amazing just amazing in my 4K hdr eyes lol

Best sports game I have played this generation. Period.

Ask Sony for a commision you sold me on their platinum headset. $200 Canadian ouch. Im at work but I can't wait to try them.

I'm in love with fisheye batting , I hit 3 HR in inning in Allstar, that the best view for me hands down, I see the ball so good on that view.

I love the view but struggle to hit with it. May need to put in more time with it this year, though.

Only played one game but so far I'm very impressed. I'll admit I wasn't really that hyped for this year's game but based on all the small but subtle improvements really make it feel fresh, and re-enforce the feeling that I'm playing real baseball. Got very encouraging results in my first exhibition game. Hopefully I'll have more time to play tomorrow.

I simulated a full season. My first impressions are that pitching might have been made a bit too powerful? Feels like soooo many pitchers have an ERA below 4.

The Red Sox won 100 games (base roster, cpu control on everything, just watching), and as much as I like them, I don't think that just makes any sense.

I've played a handful of exhibition games, and I love how the game feels.

I can't wait to see how things are once OSFM rosters get done.

Not sure how many you're seeing but looking at 2016 stats. 54% of all pitchers had era's under 4. If I'm looking correctly.
