In offline Franchise, is it featured or shown when a player (not on your team) hits a milestone? i.e. Rizzo hits his 300th home run? Or Kershaw just pitched a perfect game?

yes. Id like to know this too.
I mean Tony Larussa2 and High heat baseball from back in 1998 had this for all milestones. 3Hr games - nohitter- perfect game. etc.

Can anyone explain why Koda Glover isn't in the game after appearing in 19 games with the Nats this year? He's the front runner to win the closers job and it's pretty disappointing he's not in. I thought anyone who's played up in the bigs is part of the game.

Unfortunately not everyone. Lots of players were snubs last year, Matt Joyce and Matt Belisle are the 2 that comes in mind. So there will be lots of snubs but once they play during the season, they will be most likely added in with their career stats and editable players not the locked SCEA ones.

I'm not sure what the exact reasons why some players didn't make the cut though. Chances are they were invited to spring training not on 40 man or the teams 40 man rosters are maxed out.
Ramone will have to answer that one though.

Yeah, it is. We've been seeing sunlight bounce off faces and uniforms in Mill's stream and it looks amazing. Even more so when it does it in High Frame Rate mode.

Thanks. Was hoping to jump right into a Nats franchise tonight but don't think I can do that yet now without the guy I was planning on as closer in the game.

For carry over franchise from '16.

Where there is a player in that franchise that is missing when you download your franchise from cloud......is that missing player replaced with a player that has the same attributes, but just a name change. For example....catcher Tony Sanchez. I understand he's not in the game, but he's in my '16 franchise. Will I see a replacement catcher with the same attributes but just with a created name and face?

All I would then have to do is change the name back and edit his face.

Some players are lazy and don't fill out the paper work right away. Edwin Diaz debuted inearly June last year, and wasn't in the game till late August.


Anyway, have they improved roster and game management AI this year? Yadier Molina should not be playing SS. And teams should make trades that make sense. I shouldn't have to feel obligated to use 30 team control. Also if a CPU team offers another CPU team a trade, it would be nice to receive a notification, rather than monitoring pending transactions.
