If you are asking will an original ps4 on 1080 get any of the addional graphics and framerate improvements that pro and 4k users will get, the answer is no. Those are specific to the pro.

    Cheers mate,

Sounds like its a bit better than 16 then, the framerate is nice to hear, plus as long as the graphics and faces come out as they are shown on some of the screenshots, then ill be happy.

I am on July 4th right now trying this and these caps don't show up at all.

Maybe something that we need online servers for?

Thx for giving it a try. You're right, maybe something they can trigger remotely.

        Maybe only July 3rd ;-)

And IF they did for caps, logical to have it for jerseys as well ;-)

        Drumroll......

Can we block the trades again this year? Does it show pending trades again so we can stop cpu teams from making the trades?

            A few general questions

            1) DO we still get a brief introduction of the umpires for the game as well as some words about the plate umpire.

            2) Are we seeing OSD’s in franchise of batter vs pitcher historical stats

            3) Has the Y2Y player morale bug been fixed when transferring a franchise and then every player wants to be a star and every pitcher an Ace?

            4) How are the new check swing animations and do we see sooth check swings and not those choppy bugged frame rate issue check swings from 16?

            5) How are catchers with nubers and foul pops behind the plate? Steal cheetahs?

            6) How are passed balls? Still pin-balling right back to catchers? Or getting lodged/boucning softly into the backstop/wall or slow rolling back to them realistically?

Hello, I have been watching the OS stream for days now waiting to see if they fixed the outfield windows at Miller Park. The panels are supposed to cover the windows when the roof is closed. So yesterday, when Millennium started a game at Miller Park, I was pumped! Unfortunately, I was beyond disappointed when the game was played with the roof open which didn't answer my question.

Could someone comment on outfielder depth, especially right field? It has always bothered me that with a left handed batter the AI positions them shallow. Also, that they sprint towards a single instead of letting the ball come to them as they do irl. Thanks!

I think Ramone said the outfield depth was done that way on purpose to allow for the proper number of doubles to be hit in game

Ya i transfered over all the jays as well as the top 100 prospects. There were a few odd things but overall it looks good. The biggest issues was hair styles and some skin tone and hair color issues. I think touch ups will need to be done but not complete redos.

                        1. Yes. Harold reynolds has quite a few different comments about the home plate umpires when they show the umpire overlays.

                        2. I havent got passed game 2 yet so not sure but i think so because they do show 2016 stats sometimes.

                        3. Dont know this one sorry.

                        4.waaaaayyyyy better check swings.

5 and 6. they dont shoot out of the crouch like usain bolt anymore. Ive reached first on 2 dropped third strikes already and ive seen the ball react realistically on passed balls. The catcher situation seems perfect to me so far.

Anyone try Home Run Derby? Does the time-of-day progress any? How is the PA announcer with stadium tagging?

In fact, even in regular games, is the stadium tagging only done with Matty V. when the home run is first hit, or do they also mention it again in replay (like Harold and Plesac mentioning something as well)?

When next year's official wishlist comes around, I'm going to go into great detail about actual outfield play with video support (either clips I find on MLB.com/YouTube or actually recording some). A part of what I want to state includes where outfielders actually position themselves, but also how hard shots have to be handled, and how running/fading back should not be the same speed as running in, etc.

The next part will have to deal with ground and air physics. Sure, ball physics are now better, but we're going to have to find a way for gaps to still be split if corner outfielders are placed a hair closer to the CF. This will make plays down the line not always be cut off for singles. And yes, it still happens. I've watched far too many gameplay videos and streams in this past month (especially in the past two days) to conclude that hasn't changed much at all.

Anyway, I can answer this pretty easily: outfield depth is still the same. I'm not talking about the RF necessarily being closer than the LF on a RHB, but the default positions and such remain unchanged. Nothing has been adjusted in this regard.
