At this point I wouldnt hate that move, even if it was straight up. The injury I think hurts his value a little bit as well.

Wonder if something with iggy and a pitcher (boyd, sanchez, j.wilson) wouldve been enough to get a Frazier from them

Honestly...He is all speed. Always depending on stats, but two high C's should suffice or one mid B.

Wanna get Matz and Schoop to the Cardinals w/out losing Reyes, Carpenter, Diaz, Fowler, Piscotty, Martinez or Wacha. Is it possible?

I mean, no. Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to get either unless you deal big.

What do you guys think a realistic price would be on Puig to Jays? I see him as a pretty good buy-low candidate and we have gaping hole in the outfield.

Super interesting idea! Dodgers would initially ask for Stroman, of course, but Sean Reid-Foley + Leon/Biagini + Catcher spec might work out the deal. Hard to gauge value without stats, but as of now I think that is Puig's worth. Two B specs + MLB ready SP/RP.

I plan on starting my usual Franchise with the Rangers when OSFM drops. Is there a realistic deal that doesn't include Mazara in which I could get Christian Yelich?

Also, any thoughts on returns I should aim for if I deal Darvish at the deadline?

Profar + Gallo/Yohander Menedez for Yellich, something along that. Two B's, and one has been hurt for the past few seasons.

Red Sox wouldn't be interested now, and Mets could probably get a low B in this deal as well.

Crap, crap, potential for a 2016 All-Star. Don't see that one happening! Myers also just got locked up.

Depending on how I'm doing at the deadline, I will more than likely be looking to unload JD Martinez. I was surprised when we didnt move him over the winter.

What's his value? Considering the Mets werent willing to give up Conforto, I'm not overly optimistic.

I think how he is doing will be a better judgement. He could be worth a decent spec or two, or a meh one. B + C or just a C.


Alright, wiping off the rust. First helps are usually the worst. I will attempt to be active the whole year in here to help out!

You DONT want that trade? Confortos ceiling is of a Will Myers, grandy will probably walk away here soon and Duda will probably be allowed to walk after contract is up with Dom Smith taking over. Myers is proven.

This is exactly why i want him. His speed. O.Co looks and plays huge in the outfield. With his and Rajai out there, their speed will track most balls down. If he makes contact at the dish and it drops, its surely a double or triple. It also allows me two leadoff hitters essentially. Hamilton at leadoff and Rajai in the 9 hole

I wouldn't I still think Conforto is going to be special, Myers Had his best year last year and also struck out 160, he is two years older then Conforto. Not saying Myers isnt good , but Ill keep Conforto, just my opinion.

I ended up doing both deals. JBJ's bat hasn't been great yet, defense is very good though. After a slow start, Myers is really starting to rake. A great compliment to Cespedes in the order.

Was going to trade d'Arnaud to someone for a bag of balls and just let Plawecki start. Got anxious to start the season, and didn't trade him, let him start and has been the best hitter on the team. We will see what happens.

I gave up on Conforto. Grandy is getting old and Duda is about have his contract expire.

Grandy has been raking for them though. Hitting .454 3 hrs 7 rbi through a handful of games.

In the end Conforto may end up being as good or better than Myers, but we will see. I think we both got a decent deal.

I kind of like the idea of riding with Profar a little longer. Shedding Choo would be hard with the $$$ involved I'm sure. I'm definitely open to including DeShields plus one, or even Gomez +.

I don't think the Profar plus Gallo offer would do. Yelich is on a super cheap deal and is a budding star. Choo is super expensive, Gomez just resigned for cheap which gives an idea of his value. DeShields is a 4th OF type.

Yelich is controlled through 2022 for around $63 million and has already been a mid-4's WAR guy twice before his age 25 season. I just don't think the Rangers have the pieces needed to make that trade happen. Profar has already eaten through a ton of his service time on the DL and Gallo's star has faded even if I still strongly believe in his bat.

Gamecocks brings up a very good point here. Rangers likely do not have what it takes, but 2 years ago totally.

Marcell Ozuna has been in rumors, and wouldn't cost nearly as much.

Once OFSM drops, was looking to bring some young pitching to the back end of the Yankees rotation. Willing to part with Mateo Rutherford and Williams to bring something back.

Any ideas?
