My point is that everyone values prospects completely different where by someone standards a trade looks great while another it looks awful.

There's no way to make that Trout deal look acceptable. It's fine. Judge is a very good prospect regardless of which list you look at. Baseball America is usually viewed as the best list. MLB.com will have a handful of placements that make you scratch your head. They ranked a 16 year old who has never played a game at #29

MLB.com is the kindest to the Yankees prospects so it makes sense. Fangraphs is the nicest to Braves prospects so I sure as hell like their list. Both Fangraphs and MLB.com have Judge at 55FV so its just a matter of preference

I wasn't necisaraly talking about the trout trade more just in general. I understand it would take a lot to get trout. I'm more in between what you think it'd take and what I initially thought it'd take because in my opinion it'd take more to pry Harper as of now from the nats than it would trout bc Harper is on a team that is competing for a WS. A lot of baseball believes the angels will never compete in the four years trout is still under contract so the angels have more reason to move trout than the nats do Harper. Again I'm not disagreeing on it takes a lot to pull off trout but I am somewhere in the middle of where I was before I brought up the topic and where you stand on the value.

Babybombers the yankees aren't getting trout and it doesn't matter a trade package cuz trade will never be traded. And the Yankees won't trade their prospects so shut up. We said we wouldn't talk about a trout trade and you keep going on about one. Just leave it where it is and don't bring it up again

I'm doing a Pirates franchise just for swimming and I'm trying to trade Cutch. I went to trade him and I selected him and asked for packages built around prospects. The yankees at his point traded Gleybor Torres to the Braves. The Braves were offering me Gleybor Torres and Mason Williams for Andrew McCutchen. What do you guys think

Too much for Cutch. He's worth a really good prospect not an elite one. I think AC calculated his value at $58 million
