I thought I would mention my experience in the hope that it may work the same way for SOMEBODY else.

Since about 7:15 ET this morning, I have been playing some DD. I have reconnected to the servers 3 times. Here is what I did:
1 - Loaded MLB The Show multiple times. Tried to load DD. Raged. Decided to try a home run derby. Josh Donaldson vs Chris Davis on a 3-minute setting. Donaldson won. Tried loading DD and it somehow worked.
2 - Decided, "Hm, that worked. Maybe I can close the app and log back in to get my RUB like last year." Realized this was not the case. Raged again as I did not have enough access tokens. Play another HR derby, Anthony Rizzo vs Kris Bryant on 2-minute setting. Bryant won easily. Loaded DD again and created my team.

Since then, I have had one "Processing queue" error for a game in which I played against Tampa on rookie and won 24-0. I was trying to get rookie stats and all that other stuff up for the missions. Anyway, I raged again, then decided to play a Conquest game. I won that, but when I came to look at the missions section, my game against TB actually counted. Unlike last year, where the game would be lost to the servers, this one actually worked. This alone has made me want to play some more offline vs CPU games.

I will also admit that I had a perfect game with JA Happ through 8.1 innings. Then Jason Castro put a grounder off the first base bag that bounced up in the air, Steve Pearce could not pick it up and ruined it.

Essentially, load the game. Fail. Play a HR Derby and then try DD if that is what you want. I have not tried the Live Roster part yet. I could not get ANY online thing to load without doing a derby, which is the shortest game mode I could think of.

Managed to find a way to connect!

On the Main Menu, press the PS button and get
Back to your GUI. Do a network test, speed test.

Once you get your DL and UL speeds go to the PS
Store. Close that and back to the Show.

I'm pretty sure it's an error on their end.

has anyone been able to get the roster update?

Been up and down all day. Haven't been able to access my inventory or rosters for the last 12 hours.
Managed to get on one online game which froze halfway through the 5th. Played 1 DD game (my first ever) which got all the way through.
Also haven't got any stubs of ken griffey jr despite getting the digital deluxe edition. great start!

Just tried for the first time in the uk. Can't even login to the server to look at the vault!! What a joke

Connected once this morning to get my stubs and pre-order packs. When I backed out of that, couldn''t back in for a couple of hours. Finally, after repeatedly, one time after another, trying to access DD, it worked. I got my uniforms made and played one BR game. After the game, backed out of DD to access My Inventory of cards, and shut out again. I hope this doesn't last much longer. At least I have been able to connect a couple of times ... I prefer every time!!!

I was really hoping for good news that the servers would stabilize a little bit but that doesn't seem to be the case. I am getting ready to leave work shortly and try to get my pre-order stuff from GameStop. Looks like it isnt going to make much of a difference if the servers are down.

Not a good situation when most of the game relies on the servers to work properly and 14 hours after they go live there is little to no stability. Guess its RTTS when I get home.

It was working up until an hour ago for me now all games go to queue i can still play conquest but the game dont count
