It's 11:30am on opening day and the servers are still down from last night to the point of where we can't even get the latest roster updates? Or download from the vault?

Yeah, I scheduled a half day vacation day today but I just cancelled it because of server issues

I haven't been able to connect since last night and it's still the same this morning 8:50am PST, and I have been trying to connect for more than 3 hours to no avail.

I was almost one of those people that bought the digital deluxe version and bought a physical copy from Gamestop just to play a few hours early last night. How pissed would i be for throwing away another $80?

This is why I always take the next day off for any video game release. This is common. Especially with the Show. Not surprised.

How do you even attempt to connect to the servers over and over again? Do you just select one of the online required features? I've been equivalent to just sitting in the dark wondering how to turn on the lamp

Not relevant to servers but 6 hour download for the patch - I don't remember how big it was last year but that's a big patch. 2.438 GB

Best way I know how is pressing the middle pad on the controller and then going to "redeem". That'll attempt to connect every time.
